"The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out." - Zephaniah 1 V14

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." - 2 Peter 3 V10

Are you afraid of the great day of the Lord? Indeed, the day of the Lord will be a horrible and tragic day for those who have rejected the love of God and are indulged in worldly pleasures. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour have no reason to be afraid of this day, for we look forward for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and to be with our Lord forever. The door of grace is still open and there is still room at the cross but not for too long. Accept the Son and receive life while it is possible.
