 "...and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things  in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross." - Colossians 1 V20

 It pleased the Father for a short time, to bruise His Son, so that He may draw His people to Himself. Our sacrifices for our sins are worthless before God, and one can never attain salvation even by sacrificing the best he or she has. The only way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ and there is no other way. It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that can blot out the sins of our souls.
