"Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' " - Luke 16 V27, 28

"to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." - Acts 26 V18

Most people know the story of Lazarus and the rich man, and how the rich man pleaded father Abraham to send the message of truth to his family. Today, we do not have the dead come to us to to warn us about the realities of hell, but we have the message of the Gospel of Christ that warns us of the coming judgment of God and the only hope we have through Jesus Christ. The message of salvation through Jesus Christ is perhaps the most important message that people need to hear, and being followers of Christ, we have been commanded by Christ to preach this message to the world and open their eyes.
