"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12

The word of God doesn't return void. When we meditate on it, it like food to our soul and helps us stay spiritually sound and sharp. Satan hates the word of God and the more we study and quote it, the more it keeps Satan away. Use the Word of God as a lamp and never go into the world without being equipped with the word.
