"But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." - John 1:12

"but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." - John 20:31

The whole purpose of John's gospel is to point us to the true Messiah and the Son of God. By believing in Jesus we receive eternal life in His name. John was the beloved disciple and the first hand eyewitness to the deeds of Jesus. He also witnessed the suffering of Jesus and the resurrected Jesus. The main theme of John's Gospel is to Believe in the Son of God. John also witnessed the glorified Jesus and He recorded this in the book of Revelation. John urges His readers to believe in the true Saviour Jesus Christ and to receive Him.
Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
