"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord' and not do the things which I say?" - Luke 6 V46

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." - James 4 V7

Following Jesus Christ means complete submission to His authority and being obedient to His commandments. Humans by nature do not like to submit to anybody and that's why we see so many people don't believe in God ad so many problems in our world. Surely our Lord has invited everyone to follow Him but following Jesus comes with living in obedience to Him and seeking His glory. Even there are professing Christians, who say Lord, Lord, but they do not want Jesus to be the Master of their life. Following Jesus means forsaking the worldly things and making Him the Lord of your life in the true sense. Submit to God and receive Jesus and follow Him faithfully. Fellowship with the Lord is sweet and there is no greater joy than living for Jesus. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
