"Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." - 2 Timothy 4 V8

"And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming." - 1 John 2 V28

For a Christian whether to live or to die, it is a win-win situation. While we live and serve the Lord we are assured of the presence of our Saviour with us through the Holy Spirit, and when we die we are again assured to be in the presence of our Saviour because being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Apostle Paul during His final days on earth was ready to meet the Saviour and He rejoiced even in His sufferings because the crown of righteousness was waiting for Him. But some Christians will be caught by surprise at the coming of the Lord because they were not expecting Him. We ought to expect the return of our Saviour any moment and indeed the time is near. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
