"Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way." - Psalm 119 V37

"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light." - Matthew 6 V22

The eye is the lamp of the body according to our Lord and as important as a role our eyes play for our bodies, it can also be a tool for Satan to use to tempt and deceive us. But the root of the problem is in our hearts and when we look at worthless things and let Satan creep in thoughts that are deceiving, we are in danger of falling into sin. That's why the Psalmist prayed to keep his eyes away from all worthless things, and this should be the prayer of every child of God as well. We are called and separated by God through Christ for a purpose and Satan will try everything possible to allure us away from the things of God. Be on your guard and let not your eyes wander away to look at worthless things, but allow the Spirit of God use you for God's glory. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
