"But the free gift is not like the offence. For if by the one man's offence many died, much more the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many." - Romans 5 V15

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." - Ephesians 2 V8,9

The philosophy of all world religions except Christianity is to earn your own salvation through your works. It is like someone working out on a tread mill, you get worked out and run a long distance, but you get nowhere. We can never meet God's holy standard to stand in front of Him justified by our works. But God sent His Son to pay the price so we can be justified by His grace and the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. Salvation is the free gift of God and no saved person would ever stand in front of God as if it was earned. By grace alone are we saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
