"For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt." - Romans 4 V3, 4

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." - Ephesians 2 V8, 9

The children of Israel received the law through Moses and this happened several hundred years after Abraham lived. Abraham was not justified in the sight of God by the law or by works, but by faith in God. God did not give the law to justify but to show that no one can keep the law and be justified. It is impossible to please God without faith. God even today is in the business of saving people by grace through faith. No one can come to God without receiving His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
