"...Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." - Luke 23 V43

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." - 1 John 5 V11, 12

There were two thieves on the cross with Jesus, one thief rejected Jesus as Saviour and the other thief received Him as Lord and Saviour. And the thief who received Jesus is alive with Jesus in eternity in Paradise. A simple child like faith on the cross saved this thief and all his sins were forgiven and Christ accepted him and gave him eternal life. Christ's invitation is open to all, and those who receive Him with child like faith will receive the gift of eternal life. Christians have this assurance from Christ, who died for them.
