"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." - Galatians 2 V20
"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience." - Ephesians 2 V1, 2
The Son of God loved us and gave Himself for us and He has set us aside from the world so that we can live with Him forever. But until the Son of God returns we have to live our lives for His glory. We are called to live for Christ and die to the world. Before Christ called us we lived as it pleased ourselves, but now we are Christ's, and now we should live to please Christ. Satan is at work in the world, but we should allow the Spirit of God to work in our hearts to move us in the direction of God's will. By giving room to sin we invite Satan to occupy our thoughts and defile us, but when we grow in the Word of God we let God control us and conform us to the image of His Son Jesus Christ. Praise God!
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
