"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4 V7

"And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming." - 1 John 2 V28

Paul, when he was ready to be poured out (ready to die) for Christ in a Roman prison, he with confidence could say that he finished the race and he fought the good fight and he is ready to meet his Saviour. Every Christian ought to finish well and in that whether we die or Christ appears, we ought to be found faithful and faithfully serving Him. Some will be preoccupied with the things of this world and will lose sight of the Saviour's coming, but those who are faithfully waiting, and while waiting serving the Lord, will receive the crown of righteousness. Are you ready for the Lord to return? It could be any moment now. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
