"For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;" - Isaiah 14 V13

"...Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done." - Luke 22 V42

In the scripture we find a total contrast between Satan and Jesus Christ. Satan, also known as Lucifer, was one of the most beautiful creations of God and he had direct access to the holy presence of God. But Satan rebelled against God and in his pride he desired to exalt above God. Jesus Christ, who is God in flesh, we find asked for the will of the Father even during the most difficult time our Lord was facing. In agony our Lord prayed more earnestly and He drank the cup of God's wrath for the sin of the world. We ought to reflect Christ in all our ways and seek the will of God. Whether in trial or tribulation, we ought to glorify God and with a humble spirit we should find refuge in Him. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
