"...O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done." - Matthew 26 V42

"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." - Philippians 2 V8

Our Lord's prayer in the garden of Gethsemane is well known, and it reveals the obedience of the Son to the will of His Father. At the cross the sin of the world was laid upon Jesus, who Himself committed no sin. Sin separates us from God and the wages of sin is death. When Jesus our Lord bore the sin of the world on Him, He was separated from God for that moment, and Jesus cried to the Father, "... why have you forsaken Me". Jesus indeed drank the cup and He faced the wrath of His Father on behalf of you and Me. Our Father offers His grace to us through our Lord Jesus Christ, and now He sees us as righteous in His Son. Come and receive the free saving grace that our Lord offers us and He is waiting for every sinner to repent and turn to Him. Have you turned to the Lord for your salvation? Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
