"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3 V14

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12 V1, 2

As Christians we have to endure and press toward the goal. Our Lord has set a perfect example by living a perfect life and by being obedient to the Father even to the point of death on the cross. Let us follow our Master, the author and finisher of our faith and respond to the upward call in Christ Jesus. Let not the tribulations or trials surprise us and weaken our faith, but let us persevere and keep our eyes upon Jesus and finish the race that is set before us. Praise the Lord!
