"But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind have taken us away." - Isaiah 64 V6

"But to Him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness..." - Romans 4 V5

In our world view today, we believe in reciprocity where you do a favour to someone and you expect a favour back. People think that doing good deeds and living a righteous life is enough to maintain a relationship with God. The Bible teach us that no one is righteous, yes not a single one, and all our deeds are like filthy rags to God. How then can we please God? Well, God created a plan for us and that is through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. Just by believing on His name and living in fellowship with Him, we are accounted as righteous. For a believer, good deeds follow his faith in Christ and not the other way. Only by faith in Jesus Christ can we please God. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
