"But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,  says the Lord." - Jeremiah 9 V24

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10 V31

We often work hard to earn a good name or to do something extraordinary so that the people would remember us. The scripture teaches us to do everything for the glory of God, and not for our own glory. Let us not boast of our accomplishments, or of the riches we have gathered, but rather, let us us glory in the name of our Lord. Let us glory in our Lord Jesus Christ for the great plan of salvation. Praise the Lord!
