"But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them." - Luke 6 V32

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." - Ephesians 2 V8, 9

It is typical of us that when we do some good work to someone or to God, we expect back something good. Our love usually to others is conditional and we love only those whom we like. But God's love is unconditional, He loved us even though we were undeserving. Now we can never do any good work good enough to repay God His love and the gift of salvation. By faith are we called to accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord, by grace are we saved. Let us follow the footsteps of our Lord by unconditionally loving others.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
