"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust." - Matthew 5 V44, 45

"Then Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.' " - Luke 23 V34

Even on the cross while dying, our Savior Lord Jesus Christ prayed to the Father to forgive those who were crucifying Him. How often do we pray a prayer like that? The Lord Jesus taught us to love even our enemies and do good to everybody. There may be situations when we don't feel like obeying this commandment because of the frustration or resentment that we are going through but remember Jesus, how He asked for forgiveness while dying on the cross, so surely we can do the same.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ
