This link from my friend David...

David just sent me a very interesting link that confirms my thoughts in the previous post, that the EU had now realized that the conflict cannot be left to the Israelis and Palestinians to sort out by themselves, and that the EU will push the unity government as the basis for a new peace agreement in the Middle East. Javier Solana, the High Representative for the European Common, Foreign and Security Policy, has called for the cycle of violence between Israel and the Palestinians to be broken, and also called for the support to be given to Abbas in forming the new unity government...

Quote: ""I deplore the Israeli military operation carried out last night in Beit Hanoun, which has resulted in the deaths of 18 people, mostly civilians," Solana said in a statement. "It is high time to break the cycle of violence that I condemn in the strongest terms." He said these military operations must be halted. "We must give a chance to the process of reconciliation between Palestinians. President (Mahmoud) Abbas must be fully supported in his efforts to form a new government."

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
