"When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work." - Psalm 95 V9 "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.' " - Matthew 4 V7 Even after seeing the great works of the Lord, the Israelites tested the Lord in the desert. Due to our selfish human nature we all are guilty of testing the Lord our God, one way or the other, though we have witnessed numerous good works of our Lord in our life. Let us pray to the Lord to bless us with a steadfast spirit and remain faithful to Him without complaining and testing. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
