"For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him." - 1 Thessalonians 5 V9,10

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." - John 14 V3

We believers in Jesus Christ have a blessed assurance from our Lord, so whether we live to see His coming or we die before His coming, we shall be with our Lord forever. Being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5 V8). Let us encourage one another with these words and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
