"So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name." - Acts 5 V41

"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called" -Ephesians 4 V1

What is our worthiness that our Lord should love us so much? What is our worthiness that our King should die for our sins?  It is the goodness of our God that He has counted us worthy to be called His children and inherit the kingdom of heaven. What a privilege it is that our God has counted us worthy not that we are worthy but because of His love. Let us walk worthy of the calling with which we were called and do our Christian duties even it means to suffer shame for our Lord's name.
