"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A king shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth." - Jeremiah 23 V 5 "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord." - Luke 2 V11 Jesus Christ our Lord, is the promised one, our Lord and Saviour. The old testament prophets spoke about the coming of Christ as the Saviour of mankind and also His return as the Lord of earth, to rule and execute judgment and righteousness. Every word that the prophets spoke about Christ was fulfilled and we wait eagerly in the fulfillment of the prophecy when Christ would return to take His people into His kingdom. There is no doubt that this prophecy will be fulfilled soon. Praise God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
