"Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." - John 6 V27

"For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of those who believe." - 1 Timothy 4 V10

We all labour to earn our living and also to please the men for whom we work. Do we really please God? As Christians our main goal should be to please God and bring glory to His name in everything we do. Let us pray to God for His strength and help that we may spend our strength and resources on things that would bring glory to God. Even if it means to suffer reproach, let us be witnesses to the Word of God and tell people the Good News of Jesus Christ.
