"Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molded gods: I am the Lord your God." - Leviticus 19 V4 "Therefore , my brethren, flee from idolatry." - 1 Corinthians 10 V14 God has warned us several times in the scriptures about staying away from idolatry and to us this may not seem a very obvious sin but every person is guilty of this sin. Any time we give importance to any thing than giving God the highest place in our heart, we are guilty of this sin. Let us examine our hearts and ask for forgiveness and let only God take the highest place in our heart.
