"For the commandment is a lamp, and the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life." - Proverbs 6 V23 "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin" - Romans 7 V14 We may wonder why God created the law when He knew that we cannot keep it. Well, the law of God serves as a mirror and each one of us can see our wretched reflection in this mirror. We all are carnal and sold under sin. The light of the law reveals it all but the grace of God covers it up. This Grace is made available to each one of us through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour! We can never compete with the law of God but we can freely rely on the Grace that saves. The law of God is Holy and the gift of God is eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
