A Federal Judge has ruled that NASA must comply with a Freedom of Information Act request to hand over all its information on an alleged UFO sighting which was reported in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965.  Freelance journalist Leslie Kean was asked by the SciFi channel to find a UFO case with credible witnesses and possible physical evidence, for a documentary that was being produced by the television company. Kean submitted a Freedom of Information Act request with NASA in order to obtain any information the US space agency might have on the Kecksburg incident. After a denial that the organization was in possession of any such information, Kean filed a lawsuit forcing NASA to hand over any information relating to the case. A 1000 page document was then produced by NASA, but this satisfied neither Kean nor the judge, who has now requested that NASA search its entire archives for information on the Kecksburg incident.

Quote: "Bill Bulebush, 82, says he knows what he saw, heard and smelled, despite the doubts of the government and others in this community 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. "I looked up and saw it flying overhead and it was sizzling," said Bulebush, a retired truck driver. "I found it in the woods down there [in a valley] and I got to it 15 to 20 minutes after it landed. I saw it 10 to 15 feet away from behind a big tree -- because I was worried it might blow up -- and it smelled like sulphur or rotten eggs and was shaped like a huge acorn, about the size of a VW." Other people said that shortly afterward, dozens of Army soldiers and three members of the Air Force showed up; later that night a flatbed military truck took the object away.

Many of those who report such encounters with UFOs and their pilots often describe the same unusual phenomena, a nauseating smell of sulphur and sometimes a hostile intent towards human life. The archaic name for sulphur - brimstone, is associated in the Scriptures with God's judgement. The Bible states that the Lord rained down "fire and brimstone" in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:24). The place of torment prepared by God for the eternal damnation of Satan and his angels also burns with "fire and brimstone" (Revelation 20:10). The same smell has also apparently been associated with ghostly apparitions and demonic activity. It seems that UFO sightings and other unexplained phenomenon are becoming more and more commonplace today, and harder to explain away. Just last year a major UFO sighting occurred at O'Hare's airport in Chicago. A UFO was witnessed by a least a dozen airport employees, including baggage handlers, maintenance crew and several pilots. The object was alleged to hover over the United Airlines terminal for a few minutes, and then shot off into the sky. According to the FAA, the control tower staff saw nothing out of the ordinary, either visually or on radar. No investigation is being carried out by the government or the Aviation Authority. 

Quote: ""I tend to be scientific by nature, and I don't understand why aliens would hover over a busy airport," said a United mechanic who was in the cockpit of a Boeing 777 that he was taxiing to a maintenance hangar when he observed the metallic-looking object above Gate C17. "But I know that what I saw and what a lot of other people saw stood out very clearly, and it definitely was not an [Earth] aircraft," the mechanic said. One United employee appeared emotionally shaken by the sighting and "experienced some religious issues" over it, one co-worker said. A United manager said he ran outside his office in Concourse B after hearing the report about the sighting on an internal airline radio frequency. "I stood outside in the gate area not knowing what to think, just trying to figure out what it was," he said. "I knew no one would make a false call like that. But if somebody was bouncing a weather balloon or something else over O'Hare, we had to stop it because it was in very close proximity to our flight operations."

And even over my home town of Bangor, strange lights have been seen in the sky. I didn't see them, but my dad did. A few weeks ago, an international panel comprising of a dozen former pilots and government officials called on the United States to reopen its UFO investigation programme. Each person on the panel has either witnessed a UFO sighting first hand, or has been involved in the investigation of an alleged incident. James Fox, director and producer of a Ufology documentary "Out of the blue", believes the outing of such information would have a "unifying effect on all of us". But perhaps the time is not yet right. The Bible states that during the tribulation period, God will send unbelieving men strong delusion so they might believe a lie, that all might be damned who believed not the truth (2nd Thessalonians 2:11). We're not told what that lie will be, but according to New Age teaching, I think it may be related to the rapture of the Church and linked with the UFO phenomenon. In any case millions of people suddenly disappearing into thin air will have an enormous unifying effect on the nations of earth, and if Satan is to pull off such a deception to cover up the truth, this would be the best time to reveal to the world that "we are not alone". Of course the Bible never said we were alone, there are millions and millions of demons out there, bent on bringing about the damnation of the human race. Praise God that Jesus Christ is coming again to take His Church home. The question is, are you ready to go? Trust in Jesus Christ for salvation today.

An international panel of two dozen former pilots and governmental officials called on the US government to reopen investigations into UFO sightings today, amid concerns over safety and national security. Each member of the panel has either witnessed a UFO first-hand, or has conducted an investigation into an alleged sighting. James Fox, producer and director of the documentary "Out of the blue", has teamed up with the group to pressure the US government to start an international exchange of information on the phenomenon.

Quote: "Using previously classified documents, the group intends to discuss many well-documented cases, including two already investigated by the American government. The two cases include a Peruvian Air Force pilot who fired several rounds at a craft that was not affected and an Iranian pilot who claims his control panel became inoperable when he attempted to fire on a UFO. Both pilots will speak publicly about the events on Monday at a panel discussion in Washington D.C., moderated by Arizona Governor Fife Symington.

James Fox believes that despite ending its "Blue Book" investigations into UFOs several decades ago, the US administration continues to covertly document the sightings. He also said the reason why world governments may be reluctant to go public about the phenomenon could be because they do not want to admit they cannot control their airspace. Fox also commented that if everyone came clean on the issue, it would have a "unifying effect" on the inhabitants of planet earth...

Quote: ""Several generals are here, and they said that it's difficult for any military force to disclose information that would suggest they don't have control, and expose their weaknesses," he said. Fox, who is producing a follow-up to his UFO documentary, thinks the outing of such information "would definitely have a unifying effect on all of us, and it would give us the bigger picture of how we fit into the universe. We're not the only planet with life or the only intelligence in the universe, which in my opinion would be rather depressing." 

And that is what I find most disturbing about this article. For this idea that mankind must somehow be united in order to survive is the same one that is being promoted by these so-called extra-terrestrials and their abductees. I commented on this aspect of the UFO phenomenon in recent news event that was related to this issue. One thing Fox did get right, we are not the only intelligence in this universe. There is another intelligence out there that is vastly superior to mankind's, and poses a very definite threat to this planet. The Bible calls him the "god of this world" (2nd Corinthians 4:4), and the "prince of the power of the air" (Ephesians 2:2). He has millions and millions of demons at his bidding, who's goal it is to deceive mankind and ultimately destroy God's creation. One of the ways he is attempting this is to unite all nations under one governmental system (Daniel 7:23). Satan will then promote a man to head this world government (2nd Thessalonians 2:4), who will lead one final attempt to destroy God's people (Daniel 8:24) and prevent Christ from coming back to rule and reign over the earth (Revelation 17:14). If you are a Christian, if your sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7) and you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you (Ephesians 1:13), then praise God that "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (the devil)", 1st John 4:4. According to New Age and occult teaching, mankind is being prepared for an event in which millions of people will mysteriously disappear. Satan will be doing his level-best to disguise this event as some sort of extra-terrestrial intervention in this world's evolutionary cycle. But in reality the disappeared will be Christians, who will have been taken home to be with Christ when He comes for His Church (John 14:3). Satan is real, demons are real, UFOs are real (although not alien life forms), the Bible is real, Heaven is real and Jesus Christ is the true Messiah. Don't be deceived, and don't say nobody warned you. Trust in Jesus Christ for salvation today.

A report which was drafted by the Civil Protection Department has suggested that mysterious, spontaneous  fires, which destroyed household appliances and furniture in an Italian village during the Spring of 2004, could have been caused by extra-terrestrials. Residents living in Canneto di Caronia on Sicily's northern coast believed the strange phenomenon to be caused by demonic activity, and requested a Catholic priest to perform an exorcism in the village. The problem became so great that the mayor ordered the evacuation of the entire village, and brought in a team of electrical engineers to try and locate the problem. One scientist was amazed as he watched an unplugged power cable burst into flames of its own accord. Some experts have suggested volcanic activity could produce tremendous electro-magnetic currents in the earth, while others thought the culprit could be some unknown power testing a new weapon that unleashes massive amounts of energy. The problem ceased after the engineers replaced grounding cables in the village, but the exact cause of the fires is still unknown.  

Quote: "Now, a report of the $2 million investigation by the Civil Protection Department, ordered by the Italian government and prepared by a team of experts including a NASA scientist, seems to back up Pezzino's laymen opinion that other-worldly forces are to blame. Leaked copies say the bizarre fires were "caused by high-power electromagnetic emissions which were not man-made and reached a power of between 12 and 15 gigawatts." The report also references a possible UFO landing close to Caronia where "burned imprints which have not been explained were found in a field." The space-alien explanation is a departure from both the demonic and natural ones proposed earlier.

Of course there may be another explanation. During the 1960s, American and Russian scientists researched the effects of detonating nuclear weapons in the upper atmosphere. The high-altitude electro-magnetic pulse (HEMP) generated from such blasts is large enough to cause significant damage to electrical equipment on earth. It would only take one device, detonated at around 250 miles above the continental United States, to severely damage electrical and communications equipment in 48 states. And this is one of the reasons why Western nations are so keen that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.

Starfish Prime, a 1.4 megaton device, was detonated at an altitude of 400 kilometers over Johnston Island. Failures of electronic systems resulted in Hawaii, 1,300 kilometers away from the detonation. Street lights and fuses failed on Oahu and telephone service was disrupted on the island of Kauai. Subsequent tests with lower yield devices produced electronic upsets on an instrumentation aircraft that was approximately 300 kilometers away from the detonations. Soviet scientists had similar experiences during their atmospheric test program. In one test, all protective devices in overhead communications lines were damaged at distances out to 500 kilometers; the same event saw a 1,000 kilometre segment of power line shut down by these effects. Failures in transmission lines, breakdowns of power supplies, and communications outages were wide-spread.

Of course that is not to say that the explanations citing alien or demonic activity are any less valid. From watching that video on UFOs recently, it has made me realize that Satan is indeed masterminding a plan that will explain away the rapture and prepare mankind for his one world government. People involved in the occult, New Age movement and the "alien" abductions are all told that this earth must be cleansed if mankind is to reach the next stage of evolution. Part of this cleansing includes the removal of many of earth's inhabitants to giant spaceships, where they will await the regeneration of this planet. Question. Why are "many" of earth's people taken and not all, if indeed the desire of the aliens is to preserve us while the earth is "restructured"? Perhaps this is Satan's attempt at explaining away the rapture of the Church, why only "many" people are missing and the rest must remain behind. Guess what? The "many" are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour. We will be beamed up into heaven, when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to take us home (John 14:6). We will enjoy the "enriching experiences" of being with our Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:2). And we will be coming back again to establish a new government on earth (Isaiah 9:6-7), one built on righteousness and peace. Deceit is a lie wrapped up in the truth, and that is the way Satan has always worked from the very beginning. If you want to know the truth, read the Scriptures. Although we shouldn't use Satan's lies to confirm the truth of the Bible, it is remarkable that even Satan admits there will be a rapture and that it will come before God's judgement on this earth. Perhaps it will be soon. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
