Residents of a remote Mexican village have reported sightings of a mysterious flying figure that has been terrorizing the locals. But sightings of the 'flying witches' weren't taken seriously until one man captured an encounter on his video camera. Now other witnesses are coming forward, claiming to have experienced similar encounters with the strange beings. Members of the local UFO club have examined the video and concluded that the footage is genuine, and that the creature is indeed humanoid in appearance. The video shows what looks to be a caped figure floating across the tops of mountains. Two police officers claim to have had unpleasant encounters with the beings, and one officer received medical treatment after claiming to have been attacked by what he believes was a 'flying witch'. Quote: ""I saw a person dressed in black, with huge claws. She had her head hanging down. I stepped back to the room and saw the creature looking at me". According to the officer he saw two humanoid creatures flying above this cemetery in circles. The cemetery is right under the flight path of the flying humanoid video. This scared police officer also saw the flying creatures. "She was dressed in black with huge eyes, dark skinned. She wore a long, pointy hat. She was flying through the air". The officer received medical attention after what he says was an attack by a witch. While I believe that around 95% of UFO photographs are either hoaxes or mistaken identity, I think this video is probably genuine. It would be possible to fake an incident like this, with a large helium balloon or some sort of flying contraption. But taking into consideration the testimonies of the two police officers, I doubt this to be the case. I have heard of cases in Africa were people have been terrorised by flying witches. I did hear of one case where a flying witch confronted a Christian man, and he commanded her to stop in the name of Jesus Christ. The demon that was holding her up fled, and the witch came crashing down to the ground. And a Christian friend of mine has a sister who was heavily involved in the occult. I remember her saying that her sister travelled to Australia every year, but she didn't go by plane. The sad thing is, with the advent of books like Harry Potter, witchcraft is being presented to our children as make-believe. The broomsticks are real. The flying carpets are real. It's not magic, it's demonic. And what's worse is, their minds are being conditioned into accepting witchcraft as good. There is no such thing as a 'white witch'. Witchcraft is real, and God hates it. Praise God that greater is He that is in you (the Holy Spirit), than he that is in the world (Satan), 1st John 4:4. The disciples rejoiced when they realized that even the evil spirits were subject unto them in the name of Jesus Christ. But the Lord said, rejoice not because of this, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20). Is your name written in heaven? Have you trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation today. Luke 10:18-21 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. An Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry for the New York Medical College, Richard Gallagher, has published a paper in the New Oxford Review detailing his observations of a recent case of demonic possession. The aim of his paper is to establish the fact that demonic possession is a reality, and to help others discern between what is demonic and what is either counterfeit possession or mental illness. The case centres around a young woman who had been heavily involved in the occult. She came to believe she was under satanic attack and had requested a Roman Catholic exorcism to be performed. The exorcist team included several priests, deacons, nuns, lay assistants and psychiatrists, some of whom have had previous medical and psychiatric training. During the exorcism, the woman would often go into periodic trances, during which she would speak in other languages and slander those who were trying to rid her of these demons. She would have no recollection of what she had spoken after coming out of her trance. Sometimes she would grunt and growl like an animal, in noises that seemed impossible for a human to imitate. She displayed super-human strength, levitated in the air, and was able to recall intimate details of the lives of the team members of whom she had no previous knowledge of. Quote: ""Periodically, in our presence, Julia would go into a trance state of a recurring nature," writes Gallagher. "Mentally troubled individuals often 'dissociate,' but Julia's trances were accompanied by an unusual phenomenon: Out of her mouth would come various threats, taunts and scatological language, phrases like 'Leave her alone, you idiot,' 'She's ours,' 'Leave, you imbecile priest,' or just 'Leave.' The tone of this voice differed markedly from Julia's own, and it varied, sometimes sounding guttural and vaguely masculine, at other points high pitched. Most of her comments during these 'trances,' or at the subsequent exorcisms, displayed a marked contempt for anything religious or sacred." I don't like to concentrate too much on the demonic aspect of things. I don't think Satan deserves that honour, and I don't feel it is edifying for the believer to be thinking on such things. Paul says in Philippians 4:8, "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things". But I can relate in some ways to what is described in this article, and I feel it would be edifying for others to be warned of staying clear of the occult. Although I have never seen or felt a demonic presence near me (I have been a Christian since I was four years old), both my mum and my grandmother have experienced this. When my mum was a young girl, a woman lived opposite her who regularly held a séance. A séance is when a person who is in contact with demonic spirits tries to make contact with the dead. One day this woman asked if she could come in to my grandmother's house to use the phone. Ever since that day, my mum used to feel that an evil presence was looking at her when she came home from school. When she sang hymns about the blood of Christ, this feeling would disappear. On another occasion, one Sunday morning my grandmother had decided to prepare lunch instead of going to the breaking of bread meeting in her assembly. She was in the kitchen, and felt an evil presence walk into the room behind her. She was so scared she ran out of the kitchen door into the garden. These incidences all ceased after the woman who held the séances moved to another house. In my work in recent years, and even in recent weeks, the girls in the office have talked about going to have their fortune read. I don't like confrontation and I'm not good at speaking to people, so I didn't tell them what I thought about fortune-tellers. A few years ago another colleague in the office, a girl named Patricia, decided to go and have her fortune read shortly after her dad died. I was going to tell her that this wasn't a good idea, and that things would only get worse for her if she went. Unfortunately I didn't say anything. Shortly after she went to have her fortune read she was involved in a minor car accident, and she later said that although she thought things couldn't get any worse for her, they did. I heard girls last month talking about going to have their fortunes read, and coming back astonished at how accurate the information was that they had been given. But what do you say? Even King Saul went to the witch at Endor when God stopped speaking to him. People are searching for security in their lives, but they are looking in all the wrong places. Who will go and tell them of Jesus Christ? Who will tell them of the One Who holds the future in His hands? The Bible does mention the exorcism of evil spirits. Jesus Christ cast seven demonic spirits out of Mary Magdalene (Mark 16:9), who later became a devoted follower of the Saviour. Unfortunately the exorcism mentioned in the above article reminds me more of that account detailed in the book of Acts... Acts 19:13-16 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Look at this demon's response to the exorcism attempted by the vagabond Jews. The demon recognized the authority of Jesus Christ to cast him out of the man. The demon even recognized the authority of Paul, who was filled by the Holy Spirit of God. But the demon did not recognize the authority of those who hadn't believed on Jesus Christ for salvation, even though they used the name of Jesus Christ. 1st John 4:4 states, "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world". But if the Spirit of God isn't dwelling in you, how can you hope to cast the devil out of somebody else? What power have you got against Satan? None at all. Satan loves religion, it is his chief way of damning souls to hell. And he can quote the Bible better than any of us. The only power that is effective against the devil is the Word of God (Luke 4:4) and the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11). So beware of the occult, of fortune-telling, astrology and other things that only serve to glorify the flesh and the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4). If it's the future you are concerned about, turn to Christ. He has all the answers. Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? Isaiah 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. Source WorldNetDaily |

Well the children's meetings at the Martyrs have been going really well. I have been helping out on the buses bringing the kids to the meetings, and it has been a real blessing to be able to be involved in such a great work. Over 300 kids have been there each night. Last night was a bit of a challenge, as around four boys on our bus just did not want to behave themselves. But I will miss the meetings when they finish. It was also encouraging meeting a few new friends. I haven't been feeling the best this week. I have had sore eyes and a sore throat and head, so I have been glad of this break from updating the website too. But thankfully not much has been happening this week, so you haven't really missed much! I saw this article this morning, relating to the UFO phenomenon that we have been discussing lately. This not a recent news event, but some of the comments on this sighting do confirm what we have been saying in regards to the end-time deception. In March 1977, a large cigar-shaped object was observed hovering in the skies of Everton, England. The object was sighted by at least half a dozen eye-witnesses, who's accounts are listed in the article. The object was a dull grey colour and bore no discernable features. It's immense size, measuring around 1000 feet to a mile in length, was what took many onlookers by surprise. It's presence was accompanied by a low throbbing sound. It appeared for a short period of time and then seemingly vanished into thin air. One of the eye-witnesses happened to be a medium, who senced something about this object that the others didn't pick up. Quote: "John Kelly, a medium who lived on West Derby Road, was walking his dog in Newsham Park that day in March, when he felt an overwhelming urge to look directly overhead. He said: "I saw this greyish long craft, at least a thousand feet in length, just stationary in the sky. "The dog began to whimper, and I experienced a tingling sensation in my head. I got the impression that someone in that UFO – or whatever it was – wanted to be seen in the sky. "I felt that there was someone up there with a huge ego, and I felt he had not come from another world, but another dimension, another plane of existence. It dematerialised and not long afterwards and went back to the world it belonged to." While I don't condone what this man practices, what he has to say is very interesting. For coming into close contact with these demonic spirits through the occult, he may have been able to sense something that the average person cannot. And it seems what he was able to sense was a very powerful presence behind this object in the sky. If Ufology is closely linked with the occult, and if there are demonic spirits that are manifesting themselves in such a manner so as to deceive mankind, then it should be no surprise that he should sense a being with a "huge ego" wanting to be seen in the sky. Of course the Bible states that it was Satan's ego that ultimately caused him to sin and be cast out of God's presence. Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Jesus Christ said that He beheld Satan as lighting fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). Today Satan and his angels dwell in the first and second heavens (atmosphere, outer space), Ephesians 2:2,6:12. But the day is coming when they will be thrown out of the heavenly places and be cast down to the earth (Revelation 12:12). His lightning descent will not stop there. When Jesus Christ returns to earth to set up His kingdom, Satan will be bound in the sides of the pit for 1000 years (Revelation 20:2), and after that he must be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). The Bible tells us that the lake of fire was prepared by God for the angels that sinned. Human beings were never meant to be there. But the Bible makes it clear that sinners cannot dwell in God's presence. And so after we die we must go down to the pit, and when the 1000 years are ended, we must also face the judgement (Hebrews 9:27) and the prospect of eternal separation from God. But there is good news. Jesus Christ did not come into the world to condemn it. He came to save sinners (1st Timothy 1:15). He died for you. Recognize that you are a sinner in the sight of a holy God. Repent of your sins which have separated between you and your God. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31). Source Sefton & West Lancs |

I saw this story a couple of days ago, but I wasn't sure whether to put it on the site or not. I don't like putting up articles on the site which can't be verified as factual, and I don't like delving into conspiracy theories either. But seeing there isn't much happening in regards to the Middle East peace process at present, I thought it might be worth commenting on what this man has to say. Not necessarily on whether his claims are true or not, for I can't verify that. And I do find them a bit difficult to accept, for they seem sensationalized and no hard evidence is presented to back up his assertions. But I thought I would comment on the fact that he is making such claims, and what conclusions this may lead us to. The report comes from a man called Michael Salla, who is actively involved in researching the field of exopolitics. This is the study of what the political implications would be were it acknowledged by the governments of earth that an extraterrestrial presence does in fact exist. Salla has also studied international politics and conflict resolution. He believes there is a conspiracy to try and cover up the existence of an extraterrestrial presence, and thinks that there may be up to sixteen extraterrestrial races interacting with mankind in a variety of ways. Salla claims that there has been an off-the-record meeting at the United Nations headquarters in regards to the UFO phenomenon. He cites an unnamed source who was apparently present at this meeting, and passed on information on what was discussed to two associates of Salla, Clay and Shawn Pickering. Apparently the meeting was convened after various nations expressed their concern over a seeming increase in the number of reported UFO sightings being made in their territories. Constant freedom of information requests on the alleged sightings has also forced many governments to open their archives to the public, the latest being the United Kingdom. According to this source in the United Nations, the nations of the world will continue to experience an increase in UFO activity. This will force many governments of the world to come clean with what they know about the phenomenon. The governments will then acknowledge that some of these sightings have been of their own advanced military aircraft, equipped with advanced anti-gravity technology. This will ease fears of an alien invasion. And around the year 2013, the governments will finally acknowledge that contact has been made with extraterrestrial civilizations. Quote: "1) There is a group he is affiliated with whose task is to release information to certain sectors of society--i.e., your community (UFO). 2) The briefing had to do with calming the nerves of certain nation-states regarding sightings. 3) The Russians seem really anxious. 4) The Bush boys (Neo-cons) are anxious about being left out of the loop, when Bush steps down. 5) Although incidents are occurring around the world, these are NOT "Independence Day" types. In fact, our source stated that the ships are not as big as the ones portrayed in the film. 6) When contact is made (officially to the world) there will be no ambiguity. 7) You'll know things are heating up when suicides dramatically increase. A date of 2013 was given. Shawn stated, "Perhaps a meltdown factor." Source nodded yes. 8) Our source was to dress in civilian clothing to put the Russians at ease. They hate military dress. 9) The civilian dress was to facilitate deniability so as not to implicate the military. Now I don't know whether any of this is true or not. When it comes to extraterrestrial life, we know from the Scriptures that the Lord created the earth to be inhabited (Isaiah 45:18), and as far as we can tell there is no life on other planets. But there is life in outer space, for the heavens are the present abode of Satan and his angels (Ephesians 2:2). Whether this secret UN meeting happened or not doesn't really matter. It's Salla's 'message' that matters, and millions of people are buying it. The message is, that we are not alone in the universe, and mankind needs to unite under one authority if he is to progress on to greater things. And as we have seen, Salla is not the only one who is propagating this message. For many New Agers are proclaiming that the earth must go through a dramatic upheaval, while millions of people will be beamed up to alien motherships to formulate a new type of world government in an effort to bring about peace on earth. We know from Scripture that a one world government will be set up (Revelation 13:3). And we know that the Lord is coming back to take those who have trusted in Jesus Christ home to heaven (John 14:3). The Bible also states that during the tribulation period, God will send mankind "strong delusion that they should believe a lie, that all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness", 2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12. Could that lie be that mankind is not alone in the universe? According to Salla's article, when contact is made with the extraterrestrial races, the suicide rate will dramatically increase as many people are led to believe everything they have been taught is a lie. Who knows? Whenever the rapture happens, there is no doubt Satan will be making the most of it, in order to bring about mass deception on earth. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Forget about the truth being 'out there'. Jesus Christ is truth, and it is only through Him that we can gain access to God. Do not believe the lies of Satan. Believe the truth of the Scriptures, and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation today. Several dozen people — including a pilot, county constable and business owners — insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it. Quote: "People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts." Fourteen percent of Americans polled last year by The Associated Press and Ipsos say they have seen a UFO. The question is, is there a major change coming? Decades ago, Juhan af Grann of Finland, a New Age "prophet", proclaimed that one day flying saucers would rescue a part of mankind and transport them to other planets. And in 50's the US is said to have such technology (e.g. testimonies of Stan Deyo, US Air Force). Is it time to condition the common people to the existance of "these things" - when the "catching away" is so near? There are events not easily explained as everyday occurrences, and there are even such ones which have caused severe threats to life. I don't know why, but one thing usually comes into my mind when a new UFO sighting is announced... Hitler once said, "Make the lie big enough, so that nobody can believe it to be a lie". All in all, there will be one big lie to explain the Rapture of the Church. The Scriptures state that during the tribulation period, God will send unbelievers strong delusion that they should believe a lie (2nd Thessalonians 2:11). And already there are "solutions" to explain an event in which millions of people will go missing. The "Zeta's" are "singing the same tune" as the Muslim - Imam Mahdi is coming soon. Quote: "Many major religions expect the return of a religious teacher, who will inaugurate a new time and/or religion. Hindus await the coming of Kalki avatar or Krishna, shia Muslims the Imam Mahdi, Jews the Messiah, Christians the Christ, Zoroastrians the Peshotan, and the Buddhists expect the Maitreya ("The Buddha of the Future."). Benjamin Creme claims that these are one and the same person, namely Maitreya the World Teacher." Some people claim this man has made supernatural appearances already. Will the next one be out of the well of Jamkaram in Iran? Is history repeating itself? Once again we have a devout nation - Iran, already brainwashed for the appearance of their "godly" leader. The mission is already set too, to wipe out 6 million Jews... again. The only thing they need now is for a charismatic leader to appear, shouting the word, "Go!" "yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service" (Joh. 16:2) But what made me wonder with the Texas story was the comment, "this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times". How come?! Is it so that the Bible-believing Christians don't know the Scriptures anymore? What I have seen in my country is, that, even the basic doctrines are not clear enough for many. Let me explain. Although many people don't want to waste their "quality time" in thinking, the meaning of the Old Testament's "Day of the Lord" is the key to understanding 2 Thess. 2. correctly. - if you think about 2 Thess. 2 - keeping the view that the Rapture happens first and after that the falling away and so on - that entire message of chapter 2 makes complete sense. But, if the Church will be taken away only at the end of the Tribulation, the message of Paul is senseless, even weird. He should not have been calming them down, but further strengthening them, "Yes, you are in heavy persecutions (2 Thess. 1:4) already, but as you know, much much more worse is yet to come. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. Man will be made more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Yes, it will be horrible. I'm sad to say, but you just have to endure it somehow"... If the "post-trib" theory was the view which the apostle Paul held and taught, wouldn't the Thessalonians have had the right to ask these questions from him... (Paul, figuratively): "Ah, you are asking that what did I mean with my words in 1 Thess. 4:18, to comfort one another with these words of Rapture? I meant what I said, that if you have stayed alive, you will be raptured without seeing death - otherwise from the grave... Ah, you say, that then we should actually be hoping for a sudden, painless natural death, to avoid all those horribilities on you, if that time starts already in your lifetime - especially when you already are having such hard times ... well, I have to say that undeniably you are right ..." Blessed Hope? Not at all the one the Bible is offering to us! It will be indeed a time of great sorrow and pain, the Day of the Lord, when the righteous wrath of God will fall upon the wicked. But the blessed hope of the true Christian is His soon return to gather all His saints to His Father's House. And when the Church has gone, a new dispensation will emerge, one in which the Lord will restore His relationship with the remnant of the Jews. But that will be the time of Jacob's Trouble - seven years of escalating horror described in the Book of Revelation, starting from chapter 4. There's no prophecy yet to occur before the Lord's coming for His saints. What a wonderful moment it will be, in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor. 15:52) we'll be together with Him forever! He may come tonight. Come, Lord Jesus! |
