"...My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him" - Hebrews 12 V5 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent" - Revelation 3 V19 Not all like chastening and it is likely that we get discouraged when somebody does that to us. Only the wise understand that when the Lord chastens us, He does it for our good that we may turn away from sin. We discipline our kids when they do wrong and in a similar way our Lord rebuke and chastens those whom He loves and that all should repent. Do not let the chastening of our Lord discourage you but repent and draw close to God and He will draw close to you. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." - 1 Corinthians 11 V25 We who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Master and Saviour are part of the new covenant in the blood of Christ. The blood of Christ cleanses us from all our iniquities and we stand blameless in front of God our Father. Let us thank God for the new covenant in Christ. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." - John 10 V27 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3 V20 Imagine our Creator standing at our door and knocking, and the door remains unanswered. If we were to do the same at our friend's door, we would give up soon but great is the faithfulness and patience of our Lord Christ for He is still there standing and knocking on every unanswered door. Hear the voice of our Lord and heed to His knocking at the door, if you have not already done so. Do not make the King wait at your door knocking but invite Him into your heart today.
