"Do not marvel that I said to you, 'you must be born again.' " - John 3 V7 "having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever." - 1 Peter 1 V23 We often hear the term 'being Born Again' from our believer friends or a pastor in the Church, but do everybody understand it's meaning? Some folks do not like to hear this term because they feel by calling themselves 'Born Again' they have to lead a "religious" life and also on the other hand some believe that all Church going Christians are 'Born Again'. So what is the real meaning of being 'Born Again'? We should look into the scripture for the answer to this and no where else. The scripture teaches us that by being 'Born Again' we become a new creature and we enter into a new relationship with God and we are born into His family. We can start this relationship with God by saying "I do" to Christ by repenting of our sins and by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Our Lord is good and merciful and He is waiting on every single person to make this decision and become part of His family. It is about our decision, relationship and commitment to God. "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." - John 15 V16 "But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body just as He pleased." - 1 Corinthians 12 V18 Each one of us as believer in Jesus Christ has a specific role assigned to us and that role was chosen by God. So whatever we are called to do by God, let us do it wholeheartedly and bear much fruit and bring glory to our Creator. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." - Psalm 119 V11 "Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." - Ephesians 6 V11 Some kind of strategy is very important when a country wages war with it's enemy and knowing the weakness of the enemy is part of it. There is no doubt that the worst enemy of mankind is the devil and unless we know the weakness of the devil it will be hard to keep him aloof. God is our source of help against the devil and by getting close to God through prayer we can keep the devil away. Put on the armour of God and keep the Word of God in your heart and use it during temptations. "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?" - Psalm 139 V7 ""Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?" says the Lord; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord." - Jeremiah 23 V24 Sin separates us from God and guilt causes us to hide from God, but where can one hide? Is there any sin that we commit, not known to God? The presence of our Lord fills the heaven and the earth and He can fill His presence in our heart too when we invite Him. Nobody can hide from God and pretend as if nothing happened. God is aware of all our secret acts but He is also willing to forgive and accept us the way we are, provided we accept Him and follow Him the rest of our life. Stop fleeing and return to Jesus. "But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." - Psalm 37 V11 "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." - Matthew 5 V5 Jesus Christ led a humble life and he chose meek men to be His disciples. We may think that it requires a lot to be a follower of Christ and infact all it requires is submissiveness and faith. The meek shall inherit the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, and live in peace, rejoicing in the glory of God. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
