"And the Lord God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." " - Genesis 2 V18

"Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing." - 1 Thessalonians 5 V11

God longs for a relationship with us and so He created us with His nature in us. He gave us family and friends that we can enjoy relationship with. As Christians we are related to our other Christian brethren and it is our duty to love, comfort and edify one another. A Christian is never alone for he is now joined to the family of God and God wants us to support one another and have fellowship with Him in one accord.

"The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts." - Psalm 10 V4

"These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him; A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood..." - Proverbs 6 V16

The Lord hates proud men and pride was the very reason that Satan was expelled from the heavens and thrown down. A proud person does not feel the need for God. Pride could be very dangerous if we include it in our Christian life. A Christian should be humble just as Christ is humble. Salvation begins with repentance and repentance begins with humbling of the heart.

"...O Lord, I will praise You; though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me." - Isaiah 12 V1

"who comfort us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." - 2Corinthians 1 V4

We all have experienced the comforting strength of our Lord when we go through tribulations and trouble. Our Father in heaven is rich in mercy and He comforts all who call upon Him during the time of trouble. There may be somebody who is going through difficult time and needs God's comforting Spirit and we can let God use us to serve and comfort the ones who is in need. If you need to be comforted just ask God and He will provide it to you. Praise God!

"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law." - Romans 3 V28

"But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully." - 1 Timothy 1 V8

A Christian is justified by faith alone. The Bible teaches us that having broken a single law of God, we are guilty of breaking all of them. The law only teaches us our unworthiness to keep it and only by faith in Jesus Christ are we justified.
