For even sinners love those who love them." - Luke 6 V32 "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." - 1John 4 V7 We are called to love one another even as Christ loved the Church. Just as God loves us unconditionally, we ought to love one another with selfless attitude. The greatest of all commandment is love and let us ask God to develop within us His very nature of love. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

"Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." - John 6 V27 "For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of those who believe." - 1 Timothy 4 V10 We all labour to earn our living and also to please the men for whom we work. Do we really please God? As Christians our main goal should be to please God and bring glory to His name in everything we do. Let us pray to God for His strength and help that we may spend our strength and resources on things that would bring glory to God. Even if it means to suffer reproach, let us be witnesses to the Word of God and tell people the Good News of Jesus Christ. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

"For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders..." - Mark 7 V21 "so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 5 V21 Christ came into this world that He might once and for all offer the eternal sacrifice and pay the price for our sins. Sin is the cause of death but Christ is the source of life. Eternal life is provided to every person who puts his/her trust in Lord Jesus Christ. The only solution to our sinful heart is Jesus Christ and only Christ understood this and paid the price by dying on the cross. "But who do you say that I am?" - Luke 9 V20 "For since the creation of this world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" - Romans 1 V20 Some say that Christ was just a Jewish teacher while others say Christ was a prophet. People may have different opinion about what they think about who Christ is, but unless we believe in Christ as the Son of God all other thoughts have no value. Christ alone is the Son of God and men have no excuse to not believe in Him as the Saviour of mankind. The scripture is very clear for it is the Word of God. Believe in Christ! "O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do it for Your name's sake; For our backslidings are many, we have sinned against You." - Jeremiah 14 V7 "... God be merciful to me a sinner!" - Luke 18 V13 The only cure for our sinful heart is forgiveness and forgiveness begins with repentance. Every person has sinned and come short of the glory of God. No person is clean before God but we get the righteousness of Christ when we repent of our sin and seek forgiveness and become a new creature in Jesus Christ. Let us seek forgiveness from God for all our backslidings. Let us seek the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
