Del.icio.us!

"But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness." - 1 Timothy 6 V11

"that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3 V17

Every man who serves and obeys the living God  gets a title from God and that is "Man Of God". The Bible teaches that " head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God" 1 Corinthians 11 V3. It is the duty of every man to serve the Lord and the Lord alone and to do this one ought to be fully equipped with the word of God and only Christ can equip us with His nature because He is the head of every man. Live the way Christ would live and bring glory to our Father. Praise God!

Del.icio.us!

"not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;" - Romans 12 V11

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 15 V58

Do you feel the same passion for Christ everyday? Some days I find it challenging because of the overwhelming obstacles in life but the fact is that in any critical situations I still feel the comforting touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is always there besides us and He will keep His promise not to leave us. Let us not lag in our diligence but be steadfast in the work assigned to us to serve our Lord. Our good friend Jesus Christ is always with us and let us not stop but keep the up pace and finish the course.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Del.icio.us!

"...Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." - John 8 V11

"knowing this , that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin." - Romans 6 V6

Christ displayed His very nature of judgment when the adulteress woman was brought before Him and was condemned by others. Christ came into this world not to condemn us but to offer us forgiveness and eternal life in His kingdom. Our old sinful self is done away with and we no longer are slaves of sin but we are now the children of the Most High God, redeemed by His blood. "Go and sin no more", is what Christ told the woman and we are told the same command, now that we serve God and sin should have no part in us.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Del.icio.us!

"Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name." - Psalm 86 V11

"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you haven been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." - Colossians 2 V6, 7

After a person is born again, he begins a new journey with a new purpose and the Holy Spirit guides him to walk in truth. We begin a relationship with the Saviour and our focal point in life becomes Christ centered. This will not be an easy journey but we will always have our Lord on our side. Let us rejoice in the presence of our Lord and give Him all the glory. He will not leave us nor forsake us, that's His promise. Thank You Lord Jesus!

Del.icio.us!

"But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." - Genesis 19 V26

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new." - 2 Corinthians 5 V17

We all know the story of Lot and how God showed mercy on Lot and his family, but Lot's wife disobeyed God's command and she became a pillar of salt. We too often have the tendency to look back and grieve over our past sins and face the guilt all our life even when we know we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Christ died for us and He paid the price for all our sins and we are now a new creation with a new life. For those in Christ, their past sins are blotted out and God has cleansed us from all our unrighteousness. Let us live like the children of the Most High and not look back but keep our eyes upon Jesus.
