"He calms the storm, so that its waves are still." - Psalm 107 V29

"Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm." - Mark 4 V39

We know the story how Jesus Christ calmed the storm which scared to death the disciples. Often times we are scared too when we are tossed by trials and we almost give up. Whether it is a real storm like the disciples faced or it is another storm in our life, Christ can calm it all because He is in control of everything. Just as the disciples called upon Lord Jesus during the storm, we too should not give up but call upon the Lord and let Him handle the rest. What a friend we have in Jesus. He calms the storm and He gives us His peace, He is always there when all others turn away. Praise God!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that My soul knows very well." - Psalm 139 V14

"Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed Him, yes, I have made him." - Isaiah 43 V7

Praise God for all His wonderful works and all His creation. We were created for one purpose and that is to bring glory to His name. In all our works we should glorify His name and be thankful to our Creator who loves us so much. Praise God from whom all good things come!

"Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one!" - Job 14 V4

"A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit." - Matthew 7 V18

God has made an investment in each one of us and He expects us to bear good fruit at the appropriate time. We have the gift of the Holy Spirit from God and again God expects us to grow in Godly wisdom with the help of His Spirit. When we carefully study the story of the fig tree that was cursed by Jesus, we find that each one of us will be one day tested for our fruit and like the good tree that bears good fruit, we are expected to bear good fruit too.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

"But He who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation  or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles." - Matthew 13 V 20, 21

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot, I could wish you were cold or hot." - Revelation 3 V15

One of the evidence that we are in the last days is the state of most Christians today. We see superficial Christianity in most places and Christians are no more exemplifying Christ in their deeds.  The Word of God should penetrate deep into our hearts and create strong deep roots of Faith in Christ. We see that love for pleasure and materialistic value is growing in our society and even among Christians. Hear the word and understand it and bear good fruits that will last for eternity. Time is at hand, turn to Christ.
