"For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." - Matthew 16 V27

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Revelation 22 V12

Jesus Christ promised that He would return one day physically and this time He will return as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and will reward each one according to our works. That day is indeed at hand and as faithful servants of our Lord let us keep our hope for that blessed day.

"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." - Mark 11 V25

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." - Ephesians 4 V32

We have a very unique commandment from our Lord and that is to forgive those who have offended us. We can expect forgiveness from God only if we have forgiven our offenders. Even while dying on the cross, Christ forgave those who crucified Him. Let us take the example of our Lord and show our love and forgiveness to others, even to those who hate us.

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2 V10

"You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created." - Revelation 4 V11

God almighty created you and me and everything we see and perceive for one purpose, and that is to bring Him glory.  Every person is created in the image of God and we are united in Christ's body. We have nothing to boast other than Jesus Christ our Lord. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus and God has a perfect purpose in His creation and this purpose is revealed in our new life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us serve our Lord God and exhibit the gift of new creation. Praise God!
