According to the Biblical Guide, not only has there been an increase in the number of explicitly left-wing, anti-American, anti-Christian documentaries in the last two years (such as “The Road to Guantanamo,” “Jesus Camp,” “Jimmy Carter Man from Plains,” and “For the Bible Tells Me So”), but there has also been an increasing number of anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-American mainstream movies such as “The Da Vinci Code,” “Brokeback Mountain,” and the recent box office bombs “In the Valley of Elah” and “Rendition.” |

A Colorado man has reported that he was able to kick his drug habit after a photograph taken of him and his wife during a relative's anniversary celebration revealed what he believes to be a "demonic spirit" leering over his left shoulder. Joe Martinez says he always prayed to the Lord about his addiction, saying he could not be delivered from drugs by his own strength. But when Joe saw the photograph of him and his wife Patty, with what she describes as "Satan" at his left-hand side, he was determined to kick his habit. As soon as Patty saw the image she thought, "You're really walking with Satan". Photographic experts have examined the image and do not believe the dog's head was spliced into the photograph or that it is a double print. In order for a dog's head to appear in the photograph, it would have to be standing on the table behind Joe and Patty. Quote: "The photo was taken at a family anniversary celebration several years ago. It was in an album until just months ago, but Martinez says he won't be without it now because of the reminder it provides. What appears to be a dog is looking over Joe's shoulder, in a closer view of the anniversary reception photo "There's good and evil in life. The good on the right hand side of me, and the evil on the left side of me," Martinez told the station. The photograph, on close examination, appears to include the image of a dog peering over Martinez's shoulder. I'm not into the paranormal in any way nor would I desire to be, but I thought this article was particularly interesting. As a Christian I believe that things like drug abuse, alcoholism, sexual addiction and perversion, and many other sinful habits all have a particular demonic spirit associated with them. To me it is no surprise then, that a particularly strong demonic spirit could manifest itself in such a way. Many Christians, myself included, constantly battle against sinful habits. Each person has a particular weakness to certain temptations. As Solomon prayed at the dedication of the Temple, every man knows the plague of his own heart (1st Kings 8:38). For Adam and Eve it was something as simple as a piece of fruit, for you and I it might be something else. But Satan knows our particular weaknesses, and this is where he mounts his attacks every time. Many times I lament my own failure to do right, but often the cause of much of these may be demonic oppression and temptation. As you all already know, I am a big fan of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress. During Christian's journey through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, a spirit crept up behind him and began whispering blasphemies in his ear. Poor Christian, he did not have the wisdom to discern what was his own thoughts and what were those suggested to him by the demonic spirit. Quote: "One thing I would not let slip. I took notice that now poor Christian was so confounded that he did not know his own voice; and thus I perceived it. Just when he was come over against the mouth of the burning pit, one of the wicked ones got behind him, and stepped up softly to him, and whisperingly suggested many grievous blasphemies to him, which he verily thought had proceeded from his own mind. This put Christian more to it than any thing that he met with before, even to think that he should now blaspheme Him that he loved so much before. Yet if he could have helped it, he would not have done it; but he had not the discretion either to stop his ears, or to know from whence these blasphemies came. When Christian had travelled in this disconsolate condition some considerable time, he thought he heard the voice of a man, as going before him, saying, Though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Psa. 23:4. Many of the stories in Pilgrim's Progress come from John Bunyan's own personal experiences. His own testimony, Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, tells us how John Bunyan was afflicted by this particular sin. Even after becoming a Christian, he was tempted by Satan to blaspheme His Lord and to bow down and worship inanimate objects, even though he knew it to be sinful. You and I might not be tempted to sin against God in this way, but as we have seen Satan will use anything he can to drive us away from God. And perhaps that is why we have this account of Christian, and the spirit whispering grievous blasphemies in his ear. John Bunyan must have realized these thoughts were not his own, and through his experience the rest of us can be better prepared to face whatever Satan will bring against us. As Christian discovered, "resist the Devil, and he shall flee from you" (James 4:7). Source WorldNetDaily, Fox News, Pilgrim's Progress |

A Christian couple were sentenced to be whipped and were announced Mortad by the Justice Court Of Revolution for attending a home based church and having devotional time. “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” —Matthew 24:9 |

Science must ultimately destroy organized religion, according to some of the leading atheist writers and intellectuals who spoke at a recent atheist conference in Northern Virginia. God is a myth, and children must not be schooled in any faith, they said, at the "Crystal Clear Atheism" event, sponsored by the Atheist Alliance International. Acts 26:14 And all of us falling to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew dialect, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads. |

Dr. R. Albert Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has slammed a ruling by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which has labelled creationism as a potential threat to democracy and human rights. The Council of Europe, which represents 47 nations of the European continent, published a report on creationism cautioning member states to do everything in their power to prohibit this teaching from making inroads into the European education system. On October 4th the Council voted in support of the resolution, although this ruling is not legally binding on member states. The document itself contains many factual errors, stating in the opening paragraph that "Creationism in any of its forms, such as "intelligent design", is not based on facts, does not use any scientific reasoning and its contents are pathetically inadequate for science classes". The document also stated that evolution was built upon established facts, a claim which many evolutionists themselves would dispute. Like creation, the theory of evolution is based upon the "interpretation" of facts - not the facts themselves, and many of those evolutionary "interpretations" have been thrown out by the evolutionists following further analysis. But what is most damning about the Council of Europe's document is its assumption that creationists are right-wing extremists who are involved in some sort of political movement bent on overthrowing democracy and establishing a theocracy... Quote: "12. The war on the theory of evolution and on its proponents most often originates in forms of religious extremism which are closely allied to extreme right-wing political movements. The creationist movements possess real political power. The fact of the matter, and this has been exposed on several occasions, is that the advocates of strict creationism are out to replace democracy by theocracy. The document even claims that the very Council of Europe may be threatened, if creationism is permitted to flourish in European schools. If the belief in a God who created all men and holds all men to account for the deeds they have committed causes the Council of Europe to feel threatened, then they ought to be. Mohler said that the reason the Council of Europe was so vehement in its defence of evolution was because this secular society could not survive without a naturalistic world view. As we have witnessed with Christianity, throw out the foundation of creation and the structure of the Gospel will come crashing down. But the same holds true in reverse, throw out the foundation of evolution and structure of secularism will come crashing down... Quote: ""The Council of Europe's resolution is clear evidence of the fact that a secularised society desperately needs naturalistic evolution as the metaphysical foundation of its worldview," he stated. "Any threat to evolution is seen as a threat to democracy and human rights - and democracy and human rights are understood in an entirely secular framework as well." I was watching Revelation TV with my friend Cliff last night, and I was very encouraged to hear John Mackay speaking on this topic. He said that the person who coined the phrase "dinosaur", Sir Richard Owen, was a Christian and a creationist at that. He founded the Natural History Museum in London, which originally espoused a creationist world view. He told Charles Darwin that he wouldn't get his theory into his museum while he was still alive. No mention of Richard Owen's faith in Christ on the Natural History Museum website of course, only the fact that he rejected Darwin's theory of evolution. It seems Owen's faith in a Creator God might be a bit of an embarrassment to the present "scientific establishment". Quote: "Highly regarded for his science, Owen was also feared and even hated by some contemporaries such as Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895). This conflict was brought to a head when Owen rejected the theory of evolution by natural selection as proposed by Charles Darwin (1809-1882). This created much bitterness towards Owen and alienated a younger generation of naturalists. 'But, as we have before been led to remark, most of Mr Darwin's statements elude, by their vagueness and incompleteness, the test of Natural History facts.' Praise God that the truth of God's wonderful creation is making inroads into this secularist culture. Perhaps through this witness, many will come to salvation through knowing their Creator, Jesus Christ. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
