Hello, my name is Richard House and I live in the U.S.A. I have been a follower of this site even before it was located at this address. To this date I have heard numerous reports on the U.S. plan to strike either Iran or Iraq and I feel lead to include this. Here in America we have heard no ambitions for our government to attack anyone. Neither have we heard intentions to do anything else that is being portrayed about us. Does that mean it is not happenning? BY NO MEANS!!! Our government has been working behind the people's back for a long time now. We in America are not what we once were. Like Europe we are quickly handing over our sovereignty to another, and setting the stage for a global economy through which a global power shall occur. My plea in all this is to God's body throughout the world. Look at the vine... The time is right for harvest! The promises of God are at hand. Be dilligent and steadfast... and please do not be lazy in your work. Our Master approaches. Many look at these times and see tribulation and pain and suffering. But we are left with something they are not. We are left with hope. The BLESSED HOPE! Our time to share that hope is now! Please do not grow tired in your work for the kingdom. And if thus far you have felt like you have not contributed or lived for the kingdom... then do so! The Good News is just as good today as it was 2000 years ago! Better even! For we can see the times are desperate. My brothers and sisters, be therefore diligent and steadfast in your calling. And The Lord of all, Our Master, Our Example, Our Brother, The Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Richard House Ephesians 5:1-7 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. Ephesians 5:20-21 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Ephesians 6:5-24 Servants, be obedient to them that are [your] masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether [he be] bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. But that ye also may know my affairs, [and] how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and [that] he might comfort your hearts. Peace [be] to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace [be] with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. |

WASHINGTON — Around the world, a handful of scientists are trying to create life from scratch and they're getting closer. Experts expect an announcement within three to 10 years from someone in the now little-known field of "wet articificial life." "It's going to be a big deal and everybody's going to know about it," said Mark Bedau, chief operating officer of ProtoLife of Venice, Italy, one of those in the race. "We're talking about a technology that could change our world in pretty fundamental ways — in fact, in ways that are impossible to predict." Source Fox News |

US Comptroller General David Walker has warned the United States that the country may be on the verge of a moral, political and financial collapse, reminiscent to that of the Roman Empire. In an interview with the Financial Times, David Walker said that the US was heading towards an "explosion of debt", due to increasing health service costs, decreasing saving rates and increasing reliance on foreign lenders. He stated that unless the US government changes its policies on education, immigration and the environment, the country will have a major crisis on its hands within the not to distant future. Walker said that the recent Mississippi river bridge collapse was a "sobering wake-up call". Another bridge collapsed in China today, killing around 22 people. Quote: "Drawing parallels with the end of the Roman empire, Mr Walker warned there were "striking similarities" between America's current situation and the factors that brought down Rome, including "declining moral values and political civility at home, an over-confident and over-extended military in foreign lands and fiscal irresponsibility by the central government". "Sound familiar?" Mr Walker said. "In my view, it's time to learn from history and take steps to ensure the American Republic is the first to stand the test of time." I remember hearing once of a study that was done into the rise and fall of the civilizations of the world. All started out with a strict set of moral laws, grew to prominence, and as lawless and immorality increased, quickly collapsed. The only exception the researchers found to this rule was the state of Israel, for never in the history of the world has a people come back to their original homeland after nearly 2000 years of exile. All other civilizations have been assimilated into the culture and customs of the people of the nations by which they were conquered. And we see this pattern throughout the Scriptures. The civilizations begin with a strict set of moral laws, flourish, and as immorality increases, they collapse. During their sojourn in Egypt, the Lord stated that the time was not yet right for Israel to conquer the promised land, because the transgression of the inhabitants of Canaan was not yet full (Genesis 15:16). The Lord made clear the reason why He was permitting the Israelites to drive the inhabitants out of the land, because of the wickedness of the people. Deuteronomy 9:4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. We can expect a similar situation to occur prior to the beginning of the tribulation period. The Lord's examples for the judgement of this world was the "days of Noah" and the "days of Lot" (Luke 17:26-28). In the days of Noah, the earth was filled with violence (Genesis 6:13), and the imagination of the heart of man was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). In the days of Lot, Sodom and Gomorrah were marked by pride and sexual immorality (Genesis 19:5). Those that speak out against this sin in today's culture are now labelled as bigoted and intolerant. What a twisted generation we live in. The Lord states that one day, this world's iniquity will come to the full, and I believe this world's judgement will also come in one day. Men will cry out, "the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand", Revelation 6:17. Joel 3:12-13 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Revelation 14:14-16 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. Source Financial Times, BBC |

This link from my friend Patrick. The International Monetary Fund has sought to ease fears over the current financial crisis, which has wiped billions of dollars off stock markets across the world. The global fall in share prices began with trouble in the US mortgage market, prompting fears of a looming worldwide credit collapse. Central banks have begun pumping billions of dollars into their financial systems in an effort to stabilize them and restore confidence in the markets. Quote: "The European Central Bank added 61.05 billion euros ($83.6 billion) on Friday, less than its record-setting sum of 94.841 billion on Thursday. Asian authorities also added cash to their financial systems on Thursday and Friday. What started as trouble with risky U.S. residential mortgages is buffeting world financial markets as the fallout hits banks globally, squeezes once ample liquidity, and threatens to damage world economic growth. This news comes as China has threatened to liquidate its holdings of US dollars, if the US moves to impose economic sanctions over the valuation of its currency. China holds a considerable amount of US treasury bonds, helping to maintain the position of the dollar as a reserve currency. If China decided to liquidate its US reserves, this could trigger a depreciation in the value to the dollar and send the US economy into recession. The Bible indicates that during the tribulation period, there will be a period of global economic turmoil. The book of Revelation states that a possible combination of hyperinflation and crop failure will cause the price of bread to increase to around a day's wages (Revelation 6:6). A global economic collapse could spell the end of cash, as regional currencies become literally valueless. As a result, world governments could be pressed to introduce a new system of buying and selling, a cashless society, that would be controlled by one central bank and accessed through an electronic tag on the right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:17). The Bible states that gold, which WorldNetDaily is so keen that its readers invest in, will become completely worthless. The only reason why gold can be exchanged for money is because it has a "mystical value". Once you question that "mystical value", you erode its worth. Countries around the world have been coming off the gold standard and selling up their gold reserves, because gold is not the currency of the New World Order. The currency of the New World Order is a electronic number in a computer. The Bible seems to indicate that during the tribulation period, precious metals such as silver and gold will be worthless. James 5:1-3 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Ezekiel 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. As Christians we need to make sure we are investing in the right currency. A rich young ruler came running to Jesus one day, seeking how he might inherit eternal life. The Lord knew his heart, and told the man, go and sell all that you have and give to the poor, and take up your cross and follow Me, and you shall have treasure in heaven (Mark 10:21-22). The young man went away sad at that saying, for he had great possessions. Sadly he counted his possessions to be worth more than the salvation of his own soul. The Lord said for us not to lay up for ourselves treasure on earth, where moth and rust corrupts and thieves break through and steal. But rather lay up for ourselves treasure in heaven, where moth and rust cannot corrupt and thieves cannot break through and steal, for where our treasure is there will our hearts be also (Matthew 6:19-21). Are you accumulating treasures upon this earth, which Peter states will pass away with the judgement of this world (2nd Peter 3:11), or when the Lord comes will you have treasure in heaven - an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled and that fades not away (1st Peter 1:3-4)? I pray that we would all recognize how transient this world is and how eternal heaven will be, and serve the Lord with all our hearts. Luke 12:33-34 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Source BBC, Reuters, Telegraph, Time |

The prophet Daniel was given visions of the world as it would exist in the days leading to the Second Coming of Christ. The Apostle John was time-traveled forward to be an actual eyewitness of the final days of this age. Unfortunately, both men also suffered from the same communication difficulties. There were no words in their vocabularies to describe what they witnessed. How could a man of the first century A.D. who has never seen a machine describe the technical marvels of the 21st century? John was told to write about what he saw. I think he did an inspired job. |
