I've been having a bit of trouble with the newsletter. For some reason, since I upgraded the plugin in November, it hasn't been working properly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, and I hope this will solve the problem, otherwise I might have to abandon the idea of a newsletter. The domain people I am with are very picky about how many emails I send too, so it could be to do with them. If you would like news articles emailed to you on a daily basis, please resubscribe to the newsletter using the menu bar at the top of the screen. All the original subscribers were wiped from the database after I installed the new update. Thanks. |

I have uploaded the audio for tonight's Gospel meeting in Bethesda. The speaker was Harry Andrews and the subject was 1st Peter 2:7, the preciousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can download the audio here (part 1, part 2). These are in MP3 format and are 5 megabytes each in size. If you have trouble playing these on your computer, download the free audio program Audacity. |

Sorry if the news is slow this week. I have no idea why this is, whether it is me or whether very little is happening at the minute. I haven't felt inspired to write much. Thanks |

I went with my grandfather and Enid to visit Helen this afternoon. She is making excellent progress, and is able to lean on one of her legs and move about using a zimmer frame. This is a big step for her, because her mum was worrying how she would cope with Helen at home on her own. It was good seeing her, and she has many visitors coming to see her every day. While we were there, several others also called in to see her. And she is keeping in very good form and has been since the accident, and credits that to those who have prayed for her. Thank-you to all who have prayed for her, God has done great things for her. About the other stuff, thanks for your emails of support. Although I feel down about disunity, and in an ideal world Christians would behave as such, I think it's best not to make a big fuss over it. I was going to speak to my grandfather about it going up to the hospital today, but I read a Scripture before I came out, about King Hezekiah and Rabshakeh's letter of reproach. Perhaps there are some things men can deal with, and some others that are better left to the Lord. Isaiah 37:14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. |
