I have uploaded the audio files for the Gospel meeting we had tonight in Bethesda Gospel Hall. Tonight's speakers were John Carson, a former Lord Mayor of Belfast, and Henry Young. John Carson gave his testimony, and it is well worth listening too. Once again, I apologize for the poor quality of the audio. This was captured on my MP3 player, and I haven't quite worked out the optimum distance to put the MP3 player at to pick up all the sound without getting some distortion. You can download the audio file here (part 1, part 2). They are 5mb and 6mb MP3 files respectively. I have also fixed a broken link on the downloads page for Lawrence's last teaching on the subject of the Millennial Reign of Christ. If you have trouble playing these on your computer, download the free Audio program Audacity.

I've been feeling a little down since the Gospel meeting we had in our assembly last night. I had said in yesterday's article that as Christians, we needed to get out there and start being witnesses to others for the Lord Jesus Christ, and people needed to see Christ in us if they were to be saved. Well last night at the Gospel meeting I was tested on those words, and I failed miserably. A student came into our hall selling drawings. But instead of witnessing to him about Jesus Christ, most people passed him by, more interested in holding a Gospel meeting than actually speaking to the lost about salvation. I am to blame, I should have spoken to him, but I didn't because I thought others would. But we can't use that excuse, if we don't go and speak to them about salvation, who else will? The Lord said in Isaiah 6:8, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?". That has been the question posed down through the centuries. And the answer must always be the same. Not, "The minister will go for us", or "The elders will go for us". The answer has to be, "Here am I; send me". Well I need to start being a better witness for Jesus Christ. In my personal life too, not just online. But I have made a poll to see what others think about the content of the website, and to see if it can be improved in any way so we can be better witnesses for Jesus Christ. The poll is at the lower left hand side of the screen. Please vote, and I especially value your prayers too that I might be a better witness for the Lord.

I have uploaded the audio file for the Gospel meeting we had tonight in Bethesda Gospel Hall. Every last Friday of the month we have a special meeting where we invite a preacher to speak, and supper is provided afterwards for those who come. Tonight's speaker was Harry Andrews, and the subject is Psalm 119:105, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet". You can download the audio file here (part 1). It is a 6mb MP3 file. I apologize for the poor quality audio, this was recorded on my MP3 player and the microphone isn't great on it. You may need to turn your volume up a little bit. If you have trouble playing it on your computer, download the free Audio program Audacity.

Well the children's meetings went very well last week. It was very encouraging to see around 400 kids there on Friday night. In all 36 children went to be councelled about salvation. Even if one was saved as a result of the meetings it would have been worth it all, but it is encouraging to see so many boys and girls concerned about their soul's salvation. Truly the Lord was working with us (1st Corinthians 3:9). In regards to the website, hopefully things will be back to normal again this week. Thanks again.
