God willing I will be heading off to Newcastle, County Down this Thursday and Friday for special Gospel meetings which are being held this week and next. The meetings are being held in a large tent in a place called Northfield, which is off Corrigs Road beside the Burrendale Hotel. If you live in Northern Ireland, I suggest you come along and enjoy the singing, Gospel and ministry. Saturday, I will be going to visit my friends who are on holiday in Bushmills. So it should be a relaxing break for me. My friend Kelly has said she will keep an eye on things for me. So hopefully when I come back, there will be a lot of news for me to catch up on! Haha! This is part of the reason why I wanted to upgrade the website, so that the witness could continue in my absence, and even increase. 1st Thessalonians 1:8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. |

For those friends in Northern Ireland, the Shalom Fellowship meeting will be held this Friday the 6th of July at 7.15pm in the Donaghadee Community Centre. Shalom Fellowship is a group of Christians who recognize the Jewish roots of their faith and gather fortnightly to worship God and hear teaching from the Scriptures. My dad will be speaking at it this week God willing. |

If the text on the website is too small to read with comfort, please click on the A+ button at the top of the screen to increase the size. You need to have Java script running on your browser for this to work. Thanks! |

Well a few of you found it hard to get used to the new layout, as I did myself. As my friend Ezekiel stated, the new site had lost its "punch", for it was not as easy to access the articles. So after much deliberations, I have managed to redesign the new website to look the same as the old website. I have created a new toolbar at the top of the screen with all the usual articles linked to it. I have removed the latest news and popular news plugins. I have also copied and pasted the texts of all articles into the introduction text box, which means you will be able to read an article on the front page without having to click on it. If you click on the title of an article, you can still print and email it as usual. The only main difference is old articles now go into the archive in the top right corner of the screen, instead of on a bar below the main article links. So hopefully we should get the benefits of the new site (news emails, easy submission of articles, automatic RSS feed, etc), with the simple layout of the old site. Thanks. |

I have installed a new module which will allow people to have news emailed directly to their computers. If you have registered on the website using the form provided on the front page, you will be able to subscribe to the news and articles sections. Click on the "get news via email" link, and enter your email address and which sections you would like to receive updates for. You will eventually receive a confirmation email, asking you to verify your subscription. You need to be logged into the site before clicking on the verification link on the email itself. Once your address has been verified, you will receive email updates every two days (this may change). People who will benefit from this system are those who are still on dialup (like myself), and who cannot spend a large amount of time online. At present, this system only sends individual articles, instead of sending all the articles as one email. I may consider upgrading the system to an improved newsletter system which sends all articles under one email, although this will cost me money. If you think this would be a good idea, please let me know. |
