Chris' recent article gave a lot of thoughts. Yes indeed, for the public, why should it matter in the least whether when criminals, getting what they have deserved, would be chipped for security? Quoting Chris: "Britain already has a system whereby offenders can be electronically tagged and placed under police curfew, rather than being sent to into prison." Well, do you see what I see: "Yes, you, dear citizen, can do even crimes and get away with them, if you just let us monitor, what you do" ... If even the prisoners can be released and take the chipping as their "penalty", then with what name or which sentence would you call the chipping of ordinary people? And, Chris, will it get any worse than this: Verichip really chipped the dead after the Asian Tsunami - not even death could keep those people away from chipping. But, as has been the case for some years now, VeriChip wants to chip every US soldier, too. That leads me to other plans for soldiers. Penny Coleman is the widow of a Vietnam veteran who took his own life after coming home. Her latest book, "Flashback: Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Suicide and the Lessons of War" gives frightening pictures: "Pentagon, Big Pharma: Drug Troops to Numb Them to Horrors of War": The Department of Defence is flirting with the idea of medicating soldiers to desensitize them to combat trauma -- will an army of unfeeling monsters result? But as we'll see here, this attempt to peddle magic pills to chase away the horrors of war is just one front in a long-term, wide-ranging "warfighter enhancement program" -- including the neurological and genetic re-engineering of soldiers' minds and bodies to create what the Pentagon calls "iron bodied and iron willed personnel": tireless, relentless, remorseless, unstoppable. But it is not the first time drugs are being used to "anti-relax" troops in front of an attack. The following genocide is such a horrible story altogether and maybe the public knows not all the details (and it surely not needs to know). But what is certain - and also has been confirmed, too - is that before this monstrous attack, the Hobeika troops had had a long session of "meditation", involving a lot of drugs - as the practise was. Having all this knowledge of unmanned vehicles of war - land and air - makes one wonder, what kind of a stages will the future battles be, at least for the human soldiers? Obviously something "stronger than man" will then be mandatory, to be able to somehow survive - physically and mentally. And how does this zonked army then behave, against the innocent civilians? We have seen it. The leading Finnish PC-magazine, "Tietokone", in its Oct. 2007 -issue had also a solemn article about these killing robots, "Robots make war". Quote: "The most critical factor is the ability of the machine to justify the legitimacy of the target. The solution has been proposed, that the machine would aim its firepower into a weapon. HUMAN CASUALTIES WOULD ONLY BE SIDE DEFEATS. (The U.S.) army is also funding a project, which tries to create a conscience for these robot fighters, that they would be able to do ethical decisions. Enmity is however a political concept, which is hard to translate into machine code". Having said all this, it seems to me, that in the future battles there will be robot-like robots and man-like "robots". Once again we can clearly see, comparing the present plans to the prophecies of Joel 2 and Revelation 9, that the insanity of man has now brought the world on the edge of Armageddon. It is only a question of time now. "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." (Rev. 16:14-16) "Flee from the wrath to come" (Matt. 3:7). "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31) |

There are some interesting connections between Joel 2. (~ 800 B.C.) and Revelation 9. (~96 A.D.). Joel 2:7-19: "They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief." Kaarlo O. Syväntö, known Finnish scholar and professional in Hebrew told already in the 70's: "When we study this passage carefully, it shows that in these battles, machine-like men, robots, are used!" The Finnish Bible uses subtitles, and this particular passage starts with "Plague of Locusts". Some commentators have understood these rumbling hosts mentioned in Joel as being tanks with flame throwers - and some have even seen helicopters in them; "Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap". With a tank it is possible to penetrate many places - but leaping on the tops of the mountains is a different case. On the other hand, the helicopters of today are somewhat flying tanks, that can "jump". However, in Joel's time, nothing but birds were flying. But what is interesting is the fact, that these invaders are compared to locusts - not horses - thus some smaller things are in the picture. In Rev. 9, from the bottomless pit, hosts of this kind arose; if it is a host of helicopters, the bottomless pit is strange a hangar. Have you ever heard about a thing called SUGV? A Russian website gives a very good picture of it. Which insect comes immediately in mind? Let's read Joel again - and try to look at the view with Joel's eyes: if Joel indeed saw unmanned vehicles, war robots, which at their largest fit under your arm and smallest are as big as butterflies, isn't the Bible awesome in its details: "Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array" (verse 5). That SUGV- war robot has chain tracks and armory. "Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded" (SUGV's are remote controlled, are "afraid of nothing" and can survive even with heavy explosions). And, "They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses (SUGV can even climb stairs); they shall enter in at the windows like a thief ". Quote: "But soldiers in the future, the Army hopes, will be able to pull SUGVs from their backpacks and drop the robots through the windows of buildings where enemies may be hiding ... Robot vision systems have serious limitations, and the risk that a robot might kill an innocent civilian is too great, said iRobot CEO Colin Angle. But Angle did not rule out the eventual use of weapons on robots, and noted that Raytheon is developing a targeting system for the SUGV. "We're not using these robots to hand out flowers," Angle said." Bruce Cottrill said well: "That such robots could be in use (in these end time events) is certainly not far fetched, as even air drones are being used now- all just applications of available technology. I'm sorry, but I have nothing to offer otherwise, but in the event, their use will certainly be of limited duration, as far as the future of mankind - "we look for a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness", and I don't expect to be living on it, but rather "over it", and enjoying the harmony, harmlessness and sinlessness of the new universe, which our Lord Jesus will have rendered up to the Father for evermore." William MacDonald comments Joel 2:1-11 well: "The people are called to battle by a trumpet sounding the alarm, for the day of the Lord... is at hand. The immediate reference was to the Babylonian captivity, but the complete fulfillment is still future. Before the invaders come, the land of Judah is like the Garden of Eden; afterwards it is a desolate wilderness. The comparison of the locusts to swift steeds, climbing the wall like men of war marching in formation, entering everywhere like a thief and blackening the skies with their immense numbers, constitutes some of the most graphic, poetic description in the prophets. This unendurable invasion is all at the beck and call of the Lord, whose camp is very great". Even in the end of Revelation, after all the horrible judgments have fallen upon the wicked, the Lord is still not forcing anything: "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (Rev. 22:11) For, "The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD." (Proverbs 19:3) |

As preparations are made for US President Bush's arrival in the Middle East tomorrow for an 8 day diplomatic tour, it seems Iranian elements are doing their best to cause chaos in the region. Last night two Katyusha rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into the town of Shlomi, causing damage to a house and lamppost. Nobody was hurt in the attack. Residents of the town had thought the noise of the rockets exploding was caused by a thunder storm, and so no alarm was raised. A previously unknown terrorist organization calling itself the "Bader Battalions of Jihad" claimed responsibility for the attack. During the Second Lebanon war, hundreds of Katyusha rockets rained down on northern Israel on a daily basis. The Katyushas have a much longer range than the Kassam rockets manufactured by Hamas, are more accurate and can contain over twice as much explosives. Quote: "Israel Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld confirmed that the rockets were fired into Israel from Lebanon but did not say where the missile parts may have been produced. A similar rocket was fired from northern Gaza at Ashkelon last Thursday, the fifth Katyusha to be launched at the southern coastal city in recent years. IDF sources said that the Katyusha was apparently Iranian-made. The Israeli government has stated they are holding Hizbullah responsible for the incident. Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak has said Israel does not intend to change the status quo in southern Lebanon. It is believed that despite the UN presence in the country, Hizbullah has been able to rebuild its infrastructure south of the Litani river, and has restocked its weapon cache with the help of Syria and Iran. Hamas also announced that they targeted Israeli ships stationed off the coast of Gaza today. And yesterday it was revealed that Iranian boats operating in the Straits of Hormuz had threatened the US fleet that they would carry out a terrorist attack. The Iranian vessels later withdrew. Quote: "Cosgriff said the incident occurred at about 8:00 am local time Sunday as Navy cruiser USS Port Royal, destroyer USS Hopper and frigate USS Ingraham were on their way into the Persian Gulf and passing through the strait - a major oil shipping route. Five small boats began charging the US ships, dropping box-like objects in the water in front of one of the ships and forcing the US ships to take evasive manoeuvres, said Cosgriff, commander of the 5th Fleet and of naval forces in the US Central Command region. The Iranian boats came to less than 500 yards from the US formation and at one point broke into two groups, one group going to one side and the other to the others side of the Americans. Officials said there were no injuries. ''At one point during this encounter ... the ships received a radio call that was threatening in nature, to the effect that they were closing (in on) our ships and that the ships would explode - the US ships would explode,'' Cosgriff said. One of the goals of President Bush's visit to the region is to strengthen moderate states and to isolate Iran further for failing to halt its Uranium enrichment programme. Perhaps these latest incidents are intended to be an Iranian show of strength, reminding Israel and the US that they still possess the power to make things very difficult for them in the Middle East. The Bible indicates that Iran will be one of the nations that will invade Israel during the war of Ezekiel 38-39. And as the nation continues to develop its nuclear programme and calls for the destruction of the Jewish state, there is no doubt that Iran will play a big part in the fulfilment of this prophecy. Ezekiel 38:4-6 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Sudan), and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer (Turkey), and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: [and] many people with thee. Osama bin Laden warned Iraq's Sunni Arabs against fighting al-Qaida and vowed to expand the terror group's holy war to Israel in a new audiotape Saturday, threatening "blood for blood, destruction for destruction." Anti-Semitism “Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.” —Jeremiah 31:10-11
Israel in the Last Days “And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” —Amos 9:14-15 |

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has presented Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak with a full plan for an Israeli disengagement from the Golan Heights, according to the United Arab Emirates newspaper Al-Bayan. The proposal was discussed during a meeting between the two leaders in Egypt yesterday. Egypt and Israel have been seeking to break up the Syrian-Iranian alliance, which is presently threatening to destabilize the Middle East. In order to accomplish this, Israel would be required to relinquish control of the Golan Heights, which were captured during the Six Day War. Quote: "Israel would gradually withdraw its forces, destroy its vibrant communities and expel its Jewish residents from the area over a period of 10 to 15 years, according to the plan. The withdrawal and expulsion would be followed by deployment of Egyptian, Russian and U.S. troops in the area. Mubarak also suggested that Egypt mediate between Israel and Syria in order to bring both back to the table. Israel has been seeking for the resumption of peace negotiations with Syria, which had broken off following the outbreak of the Second Lebanon War. In return for a withdrawal from the strategic territory, Israel has been asking Syrian President Bashar Assad to end its support for terrorist organizations operating in the region. Secret negotiations between Israel and Syria have been going on for some time, mediated through the European Union. It is reported that the parties have reached an agreement on the future of the Golan Heights, but the leaders of the two nations have so far been unwilling to admit publicly that any such agreement exists. As we can see Russia will continue to play a big part in the Middle East conflict. Russia is a major arms exporter to the Arab nations, and just this week agreed to ship advanced S300 anti-aircraft systems to Iran, to help defend the country's nuclear installations. With Russian troops soon to be operating on Israel's northern border, the prospect of a future Russian-Arab invasion of Israel draws ever closer. Ezekiel 38:15-16 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
