The letters, according to Iranian sources, have been posted to Jewish families in Tehran (where the community numbers some 13,000), Isfahan (under 2,000) and Shiraz (some 4,000). They are captioned: Danger! Danger! Danger! and tell recipients to try and reach the West with all possible speed. Iranian Jews like the rest of the population face grave danger from impending events, the anonymous writers warn. |

Just recently we are seeing a Middle East on the brink of exploding. - Hamas now controls Gaza - Missiles being fired from Gaza just about daily. - Ahmadinejad is still calling for the destruction of Israel. - Syria has armed itself to the teeth for war with Israel. - Israel has training to attack Syria. - Isreal destroyed a nuclear reactor being built in Syria that can produce weapons grade material. It is pretty bleak with a battle of biblical proportions brewing. Click here to read what Israel has to say |

Egypt has signed a treaty with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), becoming the second Middle Eastern nation following Israel to sign such a pact. According to a senior NATO official, other Middle Eastern countries are expected to follow suit. The treaty was signed at the NATO headquarters in Brussels. Details on the agreement have not yet been released, but it is expected that Egypt could agree to a NATO force being stationed along the Gaza border. Quote: "According to NATO sources, the treaty entitles Egypt the right to cooperate with the organization on issues of border control, the war on terror, the exchange of intelligence, and the stabilizing of sensitive areas. Sources pointed out that no individual agreement had been reached regarding the breached Egypt-Gaza border, but added that NATO may aid in closing the border down the road. NATO is a transatlantic defence organization, which was set up to protect Western countries from the threat of a Soviet nuclear strike during the height of the Cold War. All NATO members consider an attack on any one member to be an attack on them all, thus providing a deterrent to the outbreak of war. As the Cold War ended following the fall of the Soviet Union, the need for NATO also diminished. It was Javier Solana, the Secretary General of NATO from 1995 to 1999, who was able to turn the organization around by changing its mode of operation, from purely that of a defence organization to one that could intervene in trouble spots anywhere in the world. Israeli Vice Premier Haim Ramon recently published his plans for the division of Jerusalem, which include the stationing of a NATO-like force in the region to help keep the peace. With no solution readily apparent to the situation in the Gaza Strip, and with the threat of war arising from the situation in Iran and Syria, it seems Egypt and other Middle Eastern states may be taking precautions in the event that things get out of hand. As we can see with today's news, Middle Eastern states including Israel are increasingly turning to outside help in matters of national security. We have an international peace conference in November, open talk of the division of Jerusalem, the possibility of a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities in the not too distant future, and European nations becoming more involved in the security of the region. All we need now is a man to bring it all together. Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. While the Bush Administration pours millions of US taxpayers’ dollars into the Palestinian Authority in a vain hope that that regime will ever build and govern a viable state-like entity, the Palestinian Authority is busy celebrating the victories of America’s enemies. As an American I know how blind our government has made the general population. It is no surprise to me that other countries celebrate destruction against us. But so many here are clueless as to what the world is really thinking. Our news outlets deliberately withhold information from us that does not fit in with their own liberal agenda. I pray that Americans will have their eyes open and their minds clear to what is going on. I also pray that non-believers will be drawn to Yeshua and gain wisdom during these end times before it's too late. |

Further revelations on the nature of the Israeli strike on a nuclear target in Syria have been published today. A former senior Mossad official Uzi Arad has stated that when the full details of the Israeli strike are published, it will "stun everyone". The British Sunday Times newspaper reported today that Israeli commandos dressed as Syrian officers were able to seize nuclear material that originated from North Korea, and this evidence played a major part in the joint US and Israeli decision to launch a strike on a target in northern Syria. Israeli officials have stated that the target must have been of such an importance, to destroy it, knowing they risked starting a war with Syria and possibly Iran. But what is perhaps more worrying, are reports that North Korean engineers were killed in the attack. Quote: "The Sunday Times reported that diplomats in North Korea and China believe a number of North Koreans were killed in the strike, based on reports reaching Asian governments about conversations between Chinese and North Korean officials. The officials noted that ballistic missile technicians and military scientists had been working for some time with the Syrians. According to the report, the Bush Administration was given Israeli intelligence suggesting North Korean personnel and nuclear-related material were at the Syrian site over the summer, but the administration demanded "clear evidence of nuclear-related activities before giving the operation its blessing." As a result, the newspaper said, IDF commandos "almost certainly dressed in Syrian uniforms" seized samples of the nuclear material and took them back to Israel for testing. The sources confirmed that the samples were identified as being from North Korea. According to the Sunday Times, the site - near Dayr az-Zawr - now lies in ruins following the IAF strike. Iranians have also been involved in arming Syria. During the week, dozens of Iranian engineers were killed when a chemical warhead they were fitting to a Scud-C missile accidentally exploded. News that North Koreans are involved in Syria's missile programme is likely to worry Israel, for North Korea has a highly sophisticated missile programme and recently announced to the world that is a nuclear power. Following the success of Hizbullah during the Second Lebanese War, Islamic states now believe that they can bring Israel to its knees through a constant rain of missiles on Israeli towns. Clearly Iran and Syria hope that by improving their missiles, this time they can bring about Israel's destruction rather than just a political stalemate. So history is once again repeating itself. In the Old Testament, after the Syrians were defeated by the Israelites, they blamed their defeat on the God of Israel. They said He must be the God of the hills, but not the God of the valleys. So they changed their tactics. But God delivered Israel's enemies into their hands (1st Kings 20:28). Once again the Arab nations will find themselves fighting against the Mighty God of Jacob. Ezekiel 39:3-5 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. Source Haaretz |
