ABC News Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has issued a warning to the Israeli Government, within hours of Israel announcing that it had test-fired a ballistic missile. Mr Ahmadinejad says Israel would not dare to attack Iran because of the response it would expect. Reports in the Israeli media say the missile tested was capable of carrying what is described as an unconventional payload, an apparent reference to a nuclear warhead. The Israeli military routinely refuses to comment on its missile tests. In an interview with Al Jazeera TV, the Iranian leader also said Israel "lacks the courage" to launch a strike against the Iranian state. "They're aware that any attempt at a strike will be confronted by a very strong response," he said. Mr Ahmadinejad has also accused US President George W Bush of sowing the seeds of division during his recent Middle East visit. He says Mr Bush had brought a message of confrontation during his tour during which he warned Arab allies that Iran posed a threat. Mahmaod Ahmadinejad is again playing with fire by teasing Israel with his comments. Israel on the other hand has heard these type of threats many times before. If Israel decides to strike Iran, you can be sure that it will be thorough. Israel will not let Iran strike the first blow. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. Egypt and Turkey have warned against war on Iran and called for a peaceful solution to the nuclear standoff, as U.S. President George W. Bush toured the region in a bid to isolate Tehran. Quotes: "We have no details on Iran's nuclear program, but if it is a danger, then it must be resolved peacefully," Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said at a joint news conference with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul in Cairo. "There is no need for the use of force. Use of force will lead to very serious consequences in the region and the world," Mubarak said. "The problems must be resolved diplomatically," Gul added. On Sunday President Bush hit out at Iran in a speech in the United Arab Emirates, charging that Tehran had become "the world's leading state-sponsor of terror" and that Al-Qaida was the main threat to the region's stability. "So the U.S. is strengthening our longstanding security commitments with our friends in the Gulf -- and rallying friends around the world to confront this danger before it is too late," said Bush. Times are getting critical. And, preparations are being made everywhere. Quote: "The yearning for a restoration of Russia's prestige is expressed throughout society, in areas as diverse as sports and the arts. This feeling has saturated the atmosphere because of the Kremlin's skillful manipulation. A career intelligence officer, Putin has taken considerable pains to conceal his plans. It has become commonplace to say that Russian policy under Putin has become a series of "special operations." This secrecy is simply a part of the mindset of Putin and the siloviki -- people associated with the security organs and the military -- who surround him. Some clues about Putin's intentions can be found in an 800-page manifesto issued last summer by a group of about 70 pro-Putin, national-patriotic academics under the title "Russian Doctrine." The book is presented as a set of "guidelines" for the next administration and a kind of national, supra-party platform. It contains detailed foreign- and domestic-policy proposals, including autocratic reforms to the military, national-security system, the economy, the mass media, education, and culture. The "Russian Doctrine" presumes that the Russian Federation is doomed to extinction because it will be unable to cope with the looming challenges of international competition. Within the next decade, the authors claim, Russia will increasingly begin to lag behind China, India, the United States, and some Southeast Asian countries. In response, the authors propose a new state structure based on the traditions of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. Interestingly, they propose doing so without dissolving the Russian Federation: that is, they urge the creation of a "parallel state" initially operating unseen behind the facade of the current one. It would consist of a system of political and economic institutions accessible only to Putin and the siloviki that the authors call "the invisible, networked Russia." And a further quote: "Russia has started full-scale production of the Su-34 Fullback fighter bomber at a Siberian aircraft plant, plane maker Sukhoi said on Wednesday. A company spokesman said up to 20 fighters could now be assembled simultaneously at the Novosibirsk Aviation Production Association (NAPO), but did not specify how many would be built each year. The $36 million Su-34 fighter-bomber is a two-seat strike aircraft equipped with twin AL-31MF afterburning turbojet engines. It is designed to deliver high-precision strikes on heavily-defended targets under any weather conditions, day or night, and fields weaponry that includes a 30mm GSh-301 cannon, up to 12 Alamo or Archer AAMs, ASMs, and bombs. Designed by Sukhoi, the Su-34s will replace the Su-24 Fencer frontline bombers. Experts said the new bomber has the potential to become the top plane in its class for years to come." The world has had some relatively peaceful decades as a whole. But now all of a sudden, numerous alliances are being formed, all the axes being sharpened. The Bible is clear in its statement: "And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword." (Rev. 6:4) Time and again, greater swords are being grinded. Thus, grind the Sword of the Word of God, to shine the light that saves, from the wrath of God soon to fall upon the wicked! "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Rom. 10:15) |

A posting was submitted by my friend Kelly in regards to the scroll that was presented to President Bush during his visit to Israel last week. I would just like to add my comments to this, for a number of people have emailed me about it, and I think it would be a good idea to clarify our understanding of this Scripture. In the scroll the Sanhedrin, the New Jewish Congress and the Holy Temple and Temple Mount Movements call on President Bush not to support the division of God's land. They urge the President to be remembered as King Cyrus of Persia, who supported the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple, and not as King Nebuchadnezzar who was responsible for its destruction. In their letter, the three Jewish organizations address President Bush as the "Chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal", the title given to the leader who is prophesied to launch an attack on Israel during an Arab invasion of the land. This took me by surprise, for the traditional understanding of this title is, that it would belong to the leader of either a Russian or Islamic confederacy north of Israel. I have been informed that some prophecy experts feel that these Jewish Rabbis are correct in their identification of the US President as Gog. There is no doubt that Rabbis know an awful lot about Torah. But one thing we must remember is, many of these Rabbis do not believe Yeshua is the Messiah. I'm not even sure if they understand that their rebuilt Jewish Temple will subsequently be defiled by the Antichrist. They may understand a lot about Torah, but they do not have the spirit of prophecy in them, which is the testimony of Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:10). And so when it comes to interpreting the Scriptures, I believe we must rely solely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and not depend on either Islam or Judaism for our understanding of the end times. Genesis 10:2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. As we can see, the names mentioned in the prophecy of Ezekiel are all descendents of the line of Japheth, who gave rise to the European races. Four of these names are identified as nations that are prophesied to come against Israel in Ezekiel 38, Gomer, Magog, Tubal and Meshech. These four individuals settled in the region of the Caspian and Black Sea. Quote: "[1] Gomer - Progenitor of the ancient Cimerians and Cimbri, from whom are descended the Celtic family. [2] Magog - From Magog are descended the ancient Scythians, or Tartars, whose descendants predominate in the modern Russia. Ezek 38:2 39:6 Rev 20:8. [3] Madai - Progenitor of the ancient Medes. [4] Javan - Progenitor of those who peopled Greece, Syria, etc. [5] Tubal - Tubal's descendants peopled the region south of the black Sea, from whence they spread north and south. It is probable that Tobolsk perpetuates the tribal name. A branch of this race peopled Spain. [6] Meshech - Progenitor of a race mentioned in connection with Tubal, Magog, and other northern nations. Broadly speaking, Russia, excluding the conquests of Peter the Great and his successors, is the modern land of Magog, Tubal, and Meshech. [7] Tiras - Progenitor of the Thracians. So as we can see, this passage closely identifies modern-day Turkey and possibly Russia with the alliance that will come against Israel in the latter days. The names that are not mentioned in Ezekiel's prophecy are Javan, Madai and Tiras, two of which represent modern-day Greece. Personally I feel that some poetic licence has been used by these right-wing Jewish organizations in their identification of President Bush as the "Chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal". I can't see the United States being identified in this passage, and so I believe we should stick to the traditional understanding of this prophecy in relation to the title of "Chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal". Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told a powerful parliamentary panel on Monday that Israel rejects "no options" to block Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, a meeting participant said. The statement was the Israeli leader's clearest indication yet that he is willing to use military force against Iran. "Israel clearly will not reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran," the meeting participant quoted Olmert as telling the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. "All options that prevent Iran from gaining nuclear capabilities are legitimate within the context of how to grapple with this matter." Just recently I was enjoying a very detailed book called "Armageddon", from the leading Christian author in Finland, Pekka Sartola. For decades already Pekka has been studying the Bible prophecies and the end time events. In my opinion, he has also found the correct locations for the hosts of Gog against Israel (Eze. 38:1-7). Gog himself is the war lord of Russia, originally from the land of Magog (the area, where Islamic Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan ja Tajikistan are located today). Rosh is Russia (and possibly some other previous Soviets), Meshech is from Turkey, and Tubal - or Tabal/Tibaren, also in Turkey. Persia, Iran, is with Gog, Ethiopia, too (but not the one we know today, but Sudan, g’buwl Kuwsh). Puwt, Libues of Septuagint, that is Libya, is amongst those hosts. Gomer (the Gamirs from East-Turkey) and all his hosts, Togarmah (Tagarma/Takarama, that too part of today's Turkey) as well, are there. "Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself" (Eze. 38:7) - and that's exactly what Russia is doing this very minute - "thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them." But what would Russia have to do with Islam? Firstly, today there are new winds in the religiosity of Russia: fifteen years ago, less than 1 percent of Moscow was populated by Muslims. Now, up to 20 percent of the population may already be Muslim. But there's a stronger tie. In his book, "Planet Earth, the Final Chapter", Hal Lindsey mentions a fact that cannot be underestimated. After the falling of the Soviet Union, the southern republics with Muslim majority started searching for the spiritual content, also, finding fundamental Islam as a medicine. To keep these previous allies "in line" - especially Kazakhstan (being one of the major nuclear powers) - they had to call the Muslim grandfather, Ajatollah in Tehran, for help. Mutual understanding in friendship was achieved, and in February 1991, the following terms were agreed upon: - Russia provides for Iran their nuclear weapon knowledge, and Iran in turn keeps the Soviet Moslems silent in their power wants - If the West attacks against Iran, Russia will stand by Iran's side - Iran won't butt out in Russia's own, internal affairs - even if former Soviet Muslims were in question (cf. The genocides in Chechnya) Thus, we should keep an eye on whatever ties between Russia and Iran materialize. But how about the "Holy Land"? If you look at Israel - just at the moment - could you consider one minute, that in this situation, Olmert having said that one above, they would ever go to a following standby: "Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone." (Jer. 49:31). Never. Something "big" has to happen first. But maybe that "big" is not Israel becoming a part of the European Union, which a full 75 percent of Israelis would like. Maybe there's something totally else ahead. I have been discussing with Pekka Sartola about another issue, too. Not too many commentators than Pekka (none I know) have stressed, that amongst the hosts of Gog, described by Ezekiah, are NONE OF THE CLOSE NEIGHBOURS OF ISRAEL TODAY!!! What if all these signs in nature, Bush now in the Middle-East, bullying Iran but doing what? (I nearly smell him saying "you do that!") and every smooth move to divide the Land promised to the Jews, are signs of the change to come? Now after Annapolis, when Israel was left alone with Iran - how about if Israel really acts, like they did in Osirak, Iraq!? And due to that attack Israel becomes the wealthiest oilnation of the entire world, God willing!? Would that be of some "hooks into Gog's jaws"? And what would the world assuredly do then? Immediately they would send their best possible negotiator, Javier Solana, to discuss peace with this new oil prince of power: permission to build the New Temple would be given without question, no one would listen Islam anymore - whose forces would have been beaten badly anyway - and even such kind of a "roadmap" -package could be invented, where the whole world would grant Israel a strong covenant, so that this unimaginable thing - Israel dismantling her guns & military might, radically - would be most natural a situation. The entire "New World Order" would downright love and adore Israel, and all the discordant notes would be dimmed immediately... Maybe a daydream, fiction at its best - or "things which must shortly come to pass" (Rev. 1:1)? Whatever the case, dear reader, have you already obeyed the command: "Be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16), and do you already "wait for his Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come"? (1 Thess. 1:10) If not, "now why tarriest thou?" The wrath is assuredly to come, but the Lord will take His Bride, the church - all the true believers in Christ Jesus - to His Father's House, first. Are you ready to go? |

Chris' recent article gave a lot of thoughts. Yes indeed, for the public, why should it matter in the least whether when criminals, getting what they have deserved, would be chipped for security? Quoting Chris: "Britain already has a system whereby offenders can be electronically tagged and placed under police curfew, rather than being sent to into prison." Well, do you see what I see: "Yes, you, dear citizen, can do even crimes and get away with them, if you just let us monitor, what you do" ... If even the prisoners can be released and take the chipping as their "penalty", then with what name or which sentence would you call the chipping of ordinary people? And, Chris, will it get any worse than this: Verichip really chipped the dead after the Asian Tsunami - not even death could keep those people away from chipping. But, as has been the case for some years now, VeriChip wants to chip every US soldier, too. That leads me to other plans for soldiers. Penny Coleman is the widow of a Vietnam veteran who took his own life after coming home. Her latest book, "Flashback: Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Suicide and the Lessons of War" gives frightening pictures: "Pentagon, Big Pharma: Drug Troops to Numb Them to Horrors of War": The Department of Defence is flirting with the idea of medicating soldiers to desensitize them to combat trauma -- will an army of unfeeling monsters result? But as we'll see here, this attempt to peddle magic pills to chase away the horrors of war is just one front in a long-term, wide-ranging "warfighter enhancement program" -- including the neurological and genetic re-engineering of soldiers' minds and bodies to create what the Pentagon calls "iron bodied and iron willed personnel": tireless, relentless, remorseless, unstoppable. But it is not the first time drugs are being used to "anti-relax" troops in front of an attack. The following genocide is such a horrible story altogether and maybe the public knows not all the details (and it surely not needs to know). But what is certain - and also has been confirmed, too - is that before this monstrous attack, the Hobeika troops had had a long session of "meditation", involving a lot of drugs - as the practise was. Having all this knowledge of unmanned vehicles of war - land and air - makes one wonder, what kind of a stages will the future battles be, at least for the human soldiers? Obviously something "stronger than man" will then be mandatory, to be able to somehow survive - physically and mentally. And how does this zonked army then behave, against the innocent civilians? We have seen it. The leading Finnish PC-magazine, "Tietokone", in its Oct. 2007 -issue had also a solemn article about these killing robots, "Robots make war". Quote: "The most critical factor is the ability of the machine to justify the legitimacy of the target. The solution has been proposed, that the machine would aim its firepower into a weapon. HUMAN CASUALTIES WOULD ONLY BE SIDE DEFEATS. (The U.S.) army is also funding a project, which tries to create a conscience for these robot fighters, that they would be able to do ethical decisions. Enmity is however a political concept, which is hard to translate into machine code". Having said all this, it seems to me, that in the future battles there will be robot-like robots and man-like "robots". Once again we can clearly see, comparing the present plans to the prophecies of Joel 2 and Revelation 9, that the insanity of man has now brought the world on the edge of Armageddon. It is only a question of time now. "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." (Rev. 16:14-16) "Flee from the wrath to come" (Matt. 3:7). "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31) |
