Xmark, the manufacturers of the implantable VeriChip RFID tag, are planning to launch their first ever direct-to-consumer advertising campaign in South Florida next week, in an effort to boost sales of their VeriMed system and improve their public relations image. This marks a distinct turning point for the company's marketing campaign, which has so far focused on the medical establishment rather than the consumer themselves. The company's VeriMed system has so far been adopted by around 500 hospitals in the United States, and over 1200 physicians have received training on how to bring up a patient's medical records through scanning their implanted microchip. As part of this new marketing campaign, Xmark are planning to change the name of their VeriMed system to Health Link, to make it more appealing to the general public. Xmark have faced much criticism in the past for their targeting of the elderly and vulnerable of society. Around two hundred Alzheimer patients were implanted with VeriChips last year as part of an experiment to test the company's RoamAlert wander-prevention system. Rights groups complained that the Alzheimer sufferers would actually receive less care under the new scheme, for staff would no longer be required to be physically present to look after their patients. Nor can Alzheimer sufferers give fully informed consent on whether or not they want to be implanted with a microchip, for they are incapable of understanding the medical risks involved. It seems that Xmark are continuing their targeting of the vulnerable of society, in partnering with HearUSA, a hearing aid manufacturer. The Health Link system will be made available at every store where HearUSA operates. Quote: "Health Link is the connection between you and your personal health record. It provides emergency room doctors and nurses with immediate access to your vital medical and emergency contact information, which will help them to treat you rapidly, accurately and safely during an emergency. Health Link utilizes a tiny microchip (similar in size to a grain of rice) and a secure, private, online database that links you to your personal health record. Your Health Link is always with you and cannot be lost or stolen. The Health Link microchip stores only a unique 16-digit identification number and is injected just under the skin in the rear upper portion of the right arm. When a Health Link member presents in an emergency department unconscious, unresponsive or confused, emergency medical personnel use the Health Link scanner to retrieve the member’s identification number to access his or her personal health record. I still can't get over VeriChip changing their name to Xmark. To me this is surely the Holy Spirit trying to warn believers all over the world of the days that we are now living in. And it seems we have been given a double warning, just in case we second-guess ourselves. If you still haven't got the it yet, read the catchphrase, "Know for sure". Know what for sure? Know that this is the Mark of the Beast for sure? Or at least its prototype. Of course I do not believe that this could be considered the Mark of the Beast just yet, for I believe that the Mark won't be issued until the Antichrist rises to power. But I believe this could well be the prototype, and the fact that Xmark are now marketing this to the general public ought to give us more cause for concern. Or more cause for rejoicing, for we know that our redemption draws nigh. I do believe that the Church will be taken home before the Antichrist can be revealed. But for those living during the time of the tribulation period, there will be no middle ground. The Bible makes it clear, you either accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, or your accept the Mark. And Revelation states that those who accept the Mark of the Beast can never enter heaven (Revelation 17:8). The choice today is similarly stark, although there may be nobody physically pressuring you into making a decision. John 3:18 makes it clear, if you haven't yet accepted Christ for salvation, you are condemned because of your sins already. The only thing left for your to do is to appear at the judgement to receive your sentence, which will be eternal separation from God. But it doesn't have to end that way. God loves you so much that He sent His only Son into the world to take the punishment you deserve for your sins. He bore God's punishment for your sins in His own body on the cross (1st Peter 2:24). Jesus Christ cried out from the cross, "It is finished", John 19:30. Jesus Christ completed the plan of redemption, and God was satisfied with His sacrifice for our sins (Isaiah 53:11). All you have to do is repent of your sins, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Jesus Christ created you, He loves you, and He wants you to be with Him forever. Trust in Him for salvation today. Isaiah 53:3-6 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Source Business Wire, VeriChip Corp |

A new document published by the Genographic Project, a study into human history using the science of genetics, claims that the the human race may once have come close to extinction in the not too distant past. Genetics has already shown how all of mankind can be traced back to one woman who is said to have lived around 200,000 years ago (according to the evolutionary timeframe). But this latest research has revealed that the human race recently entered a bottleneck, and that the global population could have fallen as low as 2000 people at this time. Researchers believe that harsh environmental conditions may have been responsible for this sudden decline in numbers, namely severe droughts across the African continent. Quote: ""This study illustrates the extraordinary power of genetics to reveal insights into some of the key events in our species' history," Spencer Wells, National Geographic Society explorer in residence, said in a statement. "Tiny bands of early humans, forced apart by harsh environmental conditions, coming back from the brink to reunite and populate the world. Truly an epic drama, written in our DNA." In reading these quotations, I can think of no other verse save that of Romans 1:22, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools". For the "epic drama" of which they speak has already been described for us in great detail in Genesis chapters 6 to 9. The fact that the scientists have discovered an 'echo' of the flood recorded in our DNA bears testament to the trustworthiness of the Scriptures. Palaeontologist Meave Leakey, an advisor to the Genographic Project, further states, "Who would have thought that as recently as 70,000 years ago, extremes of climate had reduced our population to such small numbers that we were on the very edge of extinction?" The answer is of course, anyone who is willing take the time to read the Biblical account of the Genesis flood. Only it wasn't extremes of climate that drove the human race to near extinction, it was extremes of sin... Genesis 6:5-7 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. As you can see from today's news, evolutionists are at pains to avoid any suggestion that the Biblical account of the Genesis flood might be true, preferring instead to believe in a continental drought rather than a global flood. In spite of the vast geological evidence for a worldwide flood... the Biblical account, the flood legends that have been passed down in the oral history of many cultures, the many eyewitness accounts of the ark on Mount Ararat, the millions of fossils buried in rock layers laid down by moving water all over the earth, mammoths instantly frozen to death in Siberia while eating tropical vegetation, the frozen tropical fruit discovered in Antarctic, fossils buried in the process of eating other fossils, fossils buried while giving birth to fossils, fossilized whales, fossilized shoals of jellyfish, fossilized trees spanning 'millions of years' of rock strata, the formation of the Grand Canyon, evidence of human habitation in areas now covered by water, etc... In spite of all of this, evolutionary scientists will still deny there ever was a global flood. Why? Because if a global flood occurred, and there is ample evidence that suggests such an event took place, it would destroy the fossil record which is the evolutionist's main argument for his theory. And secondly, if they admit that a global flood did take place, the Bible must be true and there is a Creator God to whom man is ultimately accountable. Science backs up what the Bible teaches, but as Paul states in his letter to the Romans, many of the scientists themselves do not wish to retain God in their knowledge (Romans 1:28). As evolutionary geneticist Richard Lewontin states in his book, Billions and billions of demons... Quote: "We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counterintuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door. The eminent Kant scholar Lewis Beck used to say that anyone who could believe in God could believe in anything. To appeal to an omnipotent deity is to allow that at any moment the regularities of nature may be ruptured, that miracles may happen." Peter foretold in his book that denial of the Genesis flood would be a characteristic of the days prior to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2nd Peter 3:5-7 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. It's one thing to be ignorant of God's judgements, but to be willingly ignorant is quite another. The Biblical account of the Genesis flood is true, it really did happen around 4500 years ago. The Lord did judge the world for its sin, and only eight people survived to tell the story. The Bible records that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:8), and the Lord brought him and his family into his ark of salvation. Are you in God's Ark of salvation, which is Jesus Christ? Have you trusted in Him for forgiveness of sins? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31). Forty days and forty nights, the rain came a tumbling down Everyone inside the ark was warm and safe and sound Only those outside, now they weren't laughing any more Rain and tears were mingled as they scratched upon the door Are you in the Ark? Or are you outside? Oh don't hesitate, you'll be too late! The door's open wide Now Jesus is God's Ark today, and in Him you must be His side was opened wide for you and me on Calvary If you're in Him, and He's in you, then you'll be lifted high When God comes back to judge the world, next time in flaming fire Source Breitbart |

A senior judge in the United Kingdom has warned that British society is facing melt-down as a result of the collapse of the traditional family unit. He made the comments during a conference speech in Brighton earlier this month. Mr Justice Sir Paul Coleridge stated that successive governments have neglected the family unit in their policies, and that the breakdown of the family unit now proved as grave a threat to the country as terrorism and global warming. The judge said that an increasing number of children from broken homes were turning to drink, drugs and criminality, and that almost every ill of society can be traced back to the breakdown of the family unit. He added that while not every broken home will produce dysfunctional children, nearly every dysfunctional child is the product of a broken home. He warned that the government must put the family as high on their agenda as the economy and the war on terror, and "make it rather more important than taking oaths of allegiance", a reference to a recent suggestion by the government to try and reform British society. Quote: "Using apocalyptic language, he spoke of the 'wholesale collapse' of one of the key building blocks of a stable society. He told the lawyers that "in some of the more heavily populated urban areas family life is in meltdown or completely unrecognisable", adding that "the results are affecting the mental health of parents and children across the country... family life in the old sense no longer exists. I suggest the general collapse of ordinary family life, because of the breakdown of families in this country, is on a scale, depth and breadth which few of us could have imagined even a decade ago. What is certain is that almost all of society's social ills can be traced directly to the collapse of the family life. It seems that the judge has hit the nail on the head, although I reckon he will be hated by the progressive liberals in this country for saying so. A government spokesperson denied there has been any breakdown of family life in the United Kingdom, stating that 70% of families are headed by a married couple. But that statistic is misleading, for although most families may still be headed by a married couple, often the children belonging to these parents are from two or three different relationships. When I was a child in Sunday School, which was around 20 years ago, it was virtually unheard of for a child to come from a broken home. In primary school I only ever remember one boy who's parents were divorced, and I remember thinking this was terrible. The boy in question obviously thought so too, and sometimes he would cry about it. Compare that to just a few years ago, when we only had one girl in our Sunday School whose parents were still together, the rest of the children were from broken homes. Of course some of our dearest children in the Sunday School have come from broken homes. My friend Eddie Hindson once said that it was a miracle that any of them turned out the way they did, with the difficulties they have to deal with at home. I would agree that the government should accept some of the blame for this present situation, but I would say the media must receive the majority of it. It is the media's influence on our young people, and its desensitising to sin, that has undoubtedly contributed to our immoral and ungodly way of life. The Bible says that in the last days "perilous times" would come (2nd Timothy 3:1). Those times are now upon us. It's not easy living in a sinful world. There are so many things to distract even Christians from their walk with the Lord. But it behoves us to follow the wise instructions given by Paul in his letter to the Philippians... Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. If we put Paul's words into practice, that would solve an awful lot of the problems we face today. Source Ian Paisley |

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." - Isaiah 40 V8 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." - Mark 13 V31 The word of God is our strong foundation. The word of God will stand forever and everything said by the word will come true. Rely on the word of God! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
