We beheld His glory PDF Print E-mail
The Word
Written by Jacob Chacko Kallara
Monday, 19 March 2012

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1 V14

"For He received from God the Father honor and glory  when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." " - 2 Peter 1 V17

The disciples of Lord Jesus witnessed His glory during our Lord's earthly ministry, but the day is coming when all the earth will witness the glory of the King. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Lord. The day of our Lord will be dreadful to those who did not receive the Saviour, for those who rejected the truth. But those who believed in His name, to them He will come and receive them unto Himself. Praise the Lord and blessed are those who believe and trust in the Saviour Jesus Christ!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Who can find a faithful man? PDF Print E-mail
The Word
Written by Jacob Chacko Kallara

"Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, but who can find a faithful man?" - Proverbs 20 V6

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness." - Matthew 23 V27

Men try to justify their sinful deeds with their self proclaimed righteousness. It is a common perception that good deeds is what makes people good. Jesus said, "No one is good except God". We can do all the good deeds we want or we can become very "religious" people, but unless we are right with God, nothing counts. There is only one way to enter heaven and that is with the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ. By our own merit we cannot enter the kingdom of God, but when we receive the Lord Christ, we are clothed with His righteousness.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ PDF Print E-mail
The Word

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angles nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8 V38, 39

"Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe." - Philippians 3 V1

Rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ. You may be having a tough day or a constant battle in your life, but when you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you already know our life on earth is for a short moment compared to the glorious eternity with our Lord. Rejoice in the Lord and give Him glory. Let not our temporary stay on earth deprive you of the eternal joy with our Lord. Again, give Him glory and rejoice in the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Seek God Early PDF Print E-mail
The Word
Written by Jacob Chacko Kallara
Wednesday, 14 March 2012

"O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water." - Psalm 63 V1

"Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say "I have no pleasure in them" " - Ecclesiastes 12 V1

When things go well and all our needs are fulfilled, it is pretty normal, even for the people of God, to grow cold in their walk with God. Do not let the comforts of our life separate us from our fellowship with God, but seek Him early and call upon him before the difficult days come. Sometimes we see trials and tribulations even when we walk closely with God and for this reason our Lord said, "My strength is made perfect in your weakness", and this is to refine us and make us strong. Walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and He will make you strong in your faith in Him. Praise the Lord!

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

He opened not His mouth PDF Print E-mail
The Word
Written by Jacob Chacko Kallara
Tuesday, 13 March 2012

"He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent so He opened not His mouth." - Isaiah 53 V7

"And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. Then Pilate said to Him, "Do You not hear how many things they testify against you?" But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly." - Matthew 27 V12-14

The Lord Jesus Christ held His peace and uttered not a word when He was accused and beaten by His accusers. He did this for you and me, for the will of the Father had to accomplished. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter and He was slaughtered on the cross for you and me. For God so loved the world that He let His Son die on the cross by wicked men, and this was for you and me. Receive the Son of God who died for the sins of mankind.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
