This link from my friend Ben. Mark Blitz of El Shaddai Ministries, who is credited with discovering the unusual pattern of solar and lunar eclipses that are to fall over the next seven years, has revealed plans for a global celebration of the Feast of Trumpets. Through studying the Hebrew calendar, Blitz found that a series of solar and lunar eclipses fall on several significant Jewish feast from the years 2008 to 2015. Blitz believes that this pattern of eclipses is extremely rare, and has actually only occurred during significant dates in Israel's history, in 1948 when the state was established and in 1967 when Israel retook Jerusalem. Blitz appeared on the Prophecy In The News telecast to discuss his findings, and I was sent a link to a video of this telecast by a friend. I found the information contained on the video very intriguing, for I had already been studying the Jewish feasts in relation to the timing of Daniel's seventieth week. I was originally using a spreadsheet to analyze the Hebrew calendar. The Prophecy In The News video inspired me to create an Access database to make studying this aspect of prophecy a lot easier. You can download the database from the above link. The First Coming of the Messiah fulfilled all the spring feasts commemorated by the Jewish people. The Lord was crucified on Passover, He was in the tomb during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, He was raised from the dead on First Fruits and the Holy Spirit was given on Pentecost. The three autumn feasts remaining to be fulfilled are the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. It is generally believed that the Second Coming of Christ to this earth will fulfill all these feasts. The Lord's return for His Bride may occur on the Feast of Trumpets, the Second Coming to earth on the Day of Atonement and the Millennial Reign on the Feast of Tabernacles. If you want more information on the Feast of Trumpets and how it relates to the rapture of the Church, read the rapture page. I have no doubt the remaining feasts will be fulfilled in the Person of Jesus Christ. Of course there is always going to be a certain amount of speculation when it comes to future events. We don't know exactly what will happen until it happens. But to mark this year's Feast of Trumpets and increase awareness of this unique event, Mark Blitz is hoping to get believers from all around the world to blow their shofars on the evening of the 29th of September to signal the return of Jesus Christ for His Church. Quote: "You know how at sporting events they have "the wave" where one group starts it and then it cycles all the way around back to the beginning? Do you remember how at the year 2000 they showed on television all the New Year celebrations going on around the world as the new millennium began? ... Let's have an around the world shofar assembly in every time zone on the Feast of Trumpets at sunset announcing to Messiah we are awake and anxiously anticipating His return. What a dress rehearsal! Won't that stir His heart? We will list on our website all the cities in the different time zones that are participating and hopefully we can get people from every tongue, tribe and nation participating as we join in proclaiming Yeshua (Jesus) as our coming King! There is no doubt we are living in tremendous days, with efforts being made to establish a Palestinian state by the end of the year, the formation of a Mediterranean Union next week, oil and food prices continuing to rise, the Temple Institute manufacturing priestly garments, talk of a military strike against Iran by the end of the year, etc. Strange things are already happening in this world, never mind talk of a rapture or at least the beginning of Daniel's seventieth week. The Feast of Trumpets and the unusual series of solar and lunar eclipses may just be another anomaly to add to the long list of prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes. In regards to the Feast of Trumpets, I think we should be encouraged that our Lord may come for us at any moment, but I would still caution against date setting. The Lord said to His disciples, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power", Acts 1:7. It is not for us to know the time of His Coming, and there are very good reasons for that. This effort to try and discover the timing of the Lord's return may be part of confusion behind this whole pre, mid, post and pre-wrath rapture scenarios. We should be ready at all times for His Coming (Matthew 24:44). If we were ready at all times, there would be no confusion over the timing of the rapture. Nobody would be arguing over who's view is the correct one. Instead, we would all be concentrating on making sure we were personally ready for the return of Christ, were He to come today. I think that's what we need to get back to. The fact is, Jesus Christ is coming back (John 14:3). Even if He did return for His Church on the 30th of September, you don't have a guarantee you will live to see that date. The Bible says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation (2nd Corinthians 6:2). Tomorrow never comes. If Jesus Christ came today, would you be ready to meet Him? If not, here is what to do. Confess to God that you are a sinner, and that you deserve eternal punishment in hell because of your sins. Ask God to forgive you for your sins, and thank Him for sending His only Son Jesus Christ into the world to bear the punishment your sins deserved. The Bible declares that "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved", Romans 10:13. Source WorldNetDaily |

"You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand." - James 5 V8 "He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! " - Revelation 22 V20 The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is at hand and we are witnessing the events that our Lord had foretold. Never in the history of the world there was a generation as ours that is so close to the coming of our Lord for all the things God spoke through His prophets are being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. This cannot be coincidence just as some claim but the fulfillment of the prophecies. Be patient and let us encourage one another with the hope of His return for our Lord is surely coming quickly. Maranatha! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

Apologies for not updating the website last week. I was taking a needed break from the computer, as my eyes are still a little strained and I don't want to overdo things. There is only a week to go before the launch of the Mediterranean Union project, and the French government are expecting a full turnout of Middle East leaders for the event. A few Islamic countries are still undecided at whether to send high-level figures to the Paris summit, but most nations have signalled a willingness to attend. Libyan General Muammar Gaddafi has already stated he does not intend to take part in the gathering, objecting to Israel's participation in the group. But it seems that Libya will send a delegation to the Paris summit. The Turkish government is also undecided over whether to send a high-level group to the event, but this is more to do with Turkey's bid to become a member of the European Union. Syrian President Bashar Assad is expected to attend the summit and will hold discussions with French President Nicholas Sarkozy over the situation in Lebanon. He may also meet with Israeli President Shimon Peres on the sidelines of the conference, to discuss the ongoing negotiations over the Golan Heights. It is hoped that the establishment of the Mediterranean Union, or the UPM as it is being called, will create dozens of institutions across the region in the areas of scientific and higher education cooperation, transportation, migration, agriculture and infrastructure. Quote: "On July 13, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will host the heads of the governments and states of 43 countries, including the EU's 27 countries and the Mediterranean nations, except for Libya, which will send a lower-ranked figure to show its uneasiness over Israel's participation. Through the summit, the French presidency of the EU will launch its controversial project known as the 'Union for the Mediterranean'. During the summit, leaders will have a chance to deliver short speeches on how they see the initiative, the goals, vision and prospects of which will be detailed in a joint statement to be published at the end of summit. EU diplomats in Brussels are still discussing the content of the communiqué, which is where Turkish diplomacy comes in. Libya's reluctance to participate in the UPM is no surprise, for the Bible states that Libya will be one of the nations that will come against Israel in the latter days (Ezekiel 38:5). This verse also mentions Iran and Sudan, all of them staunch Islamic states, characterized by a hatred for Israel. But clearly July 13th will be a very significant day. One person emailed me recently asking whether this Mediterranean Union could be the final world empire that the man of sin will control. The book of Revelation seems to indicate that there would be seven world empires in history that would rule over the Jewish people. Revelation 17:10-11 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Five of these empires have fallen. They are thought to be Egypt (Genesis 15:13), Assyria (2nd Kings 17:6), Babylon (Daniel 2:38), Medo-Persia (Daniel 8:20) and Greece (Daniel 10:20). And in John's day, Israel was held captive by Rome (Luke 2:1). It seems that we are now living, or possibly more correctly, will be living in the days of the seventh kingdom, the Revived Roman Empire. I say 'will be', because Israel is not presently under the control of the European Union. Things are leading that way, but we are not there yet. There are leaders in Israel who are interested in joining the EU. And just recently the EU upgraded its relations with the Jewish state. I think the more Israel becomes entangled in the web of the EU, the closer we are to Europe actually 'occupying' the state of Israel. And with the creation of this proposed Mediterranean Union, Israel is set to become a partner with the EU. That brings us to another prophecy in the book of Revelation. Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. When the 'sea' is mentioned in Scripture, it generally refers to the Mediterranean Sea. And at the time of John's vision of the Apocalypse, he was on the island of Patmos, which is located off the southern coast of Greece in the Mediterranean Sea. Could it be that this UPM will be the beast that rises up out of the 'sea'? Could this be the eighth kingdom, which is also of the seventh (Rome)? I don't know. But I think it is extremely interesting that this Mediterranean Union is being proposed now, especially in light of current efforts being made in regards to Syria and the Palestinians. Sooner or later an agreement will be reached. And for those of us who know Bible prophecy, we know what that will mean. Jesus Christ is coming back. Now is not the time for procrastination. As the angel warned the Apostle John, "Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand", Revelation 22:10. This is why we take the time to warn you of what is coming to pass. This is an urgent matter. We are not promised tomorrow. The Scriptures say, "Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts", Hebrews 4:7. If God is speaking to you about your need of salvation, do not harden your heart. You may not have another opportunity to hear the Gospel. God loves you so much, He send His only Son into the world to die on a cross, so that you could be forgiven of your sins. Turn away from your sins and believe on Jesus Christ for salvation today. Source Reuters, China View, Turkish Daily News, China View, Mathaba |

"Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ" - Philippians 3 V8 "because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel" - Colossians 1 V5 There is nothing to worry and there is nothing to lose, for every follower of Christ is destined to win and the greatest victory being won by Christ Himself for us. Any loss that we suffer for Christ is nothing compared to the eternal gifts that we will receive in heaven. The hour is at hand, repent of your sins and accept Christ and receive the free gift of salvation, if you have not already done so. Be a follower of Christ Jesus for every follower is destined to win! "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

"...Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward." - John 13 V36 "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 5 V8 Christ is our hope and salvation. Our last breath on earth is the first moment in heaven, in the presence of our Lord. This is the hope for every believer who has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We will follow our Lord where He is and let us encourage one another with the Hope that our Lord gave us. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
