The son of Sheik Hassan Yousef, one of the top leaders in the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, has announced that he has become a Christian. His father is presently serving time in Israel for masterminding a number of terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. Masab said he had previously aided his father in planning attacks against Israel, but now had a love for the people which he once hated. He lamented Palestinian society as one that "sanctifies death and the suicide terrorists", and added that Israel would never enjoy peace with Hamas, for Muslims must follow the teaching of Mohammed who urged them to fight the Jews to the death. Masab is presently living in the United States. Quote: "Masab knows that he has little hope of returning to visit the Holy Land in this lifetime. "I know that I'm endangering my life and am even liable to lose my father, but I hope that he'll understand this and that God will give him and my family patience and willingness to open their eyes to Jesus and to Christianity. Maybe one day I'll be able to return to Palestine and to Ramallah with Jesus, in the Kingdom of God." Masab isn't the only Islamic terrorist who has trusted Jesus Christ for salvation and found that they have received a God-given love for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Walid Shoebat is another example. The world has no explanation for this sudden change of heart. Former British officials, including Prime Minister's wife Cherie Blair and London Mayor Ken Livingstone, have in the past justified Palestinian terrorism and suicide bombings as legitimate resistance. But former Palestinian terrorists decrying the things they had once stood for? I'm sure the Israelis interviewing Masab were just as surprised. What a testimony of the saving power of God! My friend Eddie Hindson used to say of the Apostle Paul that it was as if the Lord and Satan were playing a game of chess, and just when Satan had thought he had won, God took his best man. The man who had once persecuted this Way unto death became one of the greatest preachers that ever lived. The Bible says that "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new", 2nd Corinthians 5:17. God can give you a new life and a new future in Jesus Christ. Why don't you trust in Him for salvation today. Source Haaretz |

"Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh." - Ezekiel 11 V19 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams." - Acts 2 V17 The scripture talks about a great revival in the last days where God will bring back His people Israel into their own land and put a new spirit within them. God will use His people in a mighty way to bring back the lost to Himself, before He will separate the wheat from the chaff. How do you feel about all this? Do you feel at God's side so He can count on you during these last days? Pray, repent and return to God and be a part of God's great revival. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

This link from my friend Tony. The Paluxy river, located near Glen Rose, Texas, is home to the longest, uninterrupted dinosaur trails ever discovered. Alongside this dinosaur trail lies a trail of fossilized human footprints. Creationists have argued that this evidence shows that mankind existed at the same time as the dinosaurs. Evolutionists teach that most of the dinosaurs died out roughly 65 million years ago, and that mankind has only evolved from apes over the last 4 million years. But evolutionists are still undecided as to what actually caused the dinosaurs to suddenly die out. Creationists believe that man was created on the same day as all land animals - including dinosaurs (Job 40:15), and that the many dinosaur fossils we find in the world today are a result of the flood. There is much evidence to prove that dinosaurs did not die out 65 million years ago, including accounts of dinosaur-like animals in the Bible (Job 40-41), in the Doomsday Book and other historical literature. Incan artefacts and aboriginal cave drawings have also been found to contain depictions of what we would now call dinosaurs. But until now there has been little paleontological evidence to prove that man and dinosaurs actually co-existed. A fossilized dinosaur footprint, recovered from the Paluxy riverbed in July 2000, may be set to change all that. A man by the name of Alvis Delk had been hunting for Indian artefacts near Glen Rose, Texas. He was walking along the creek when a pile of rocks by the riverbank caught his eye. Upon further examination he discovered a dinosaur imprint on the limestone rock. He excavated the rock and took it home to add to his collection. Delk suffered a fall eight months ago, resulting in several operations, a long recovery process and expensive medical bills. So he decided to sell some of his dinosaur artefacts to the Creation Museum in Glen Rose, Texas. As he was cleaning his fossilized dinosaur print, he discovered there was a second footprint embedded in the rock. It was the footprint of a man. Not only did the rock contain a dinosaur and human footprint, but the dinosaur footprint intersected the human one, showing that the human footprint was made first and proving that dinosaurs and man co-existed. Quote: "Baugh said the fossil is the proof he has been searching many years for. He acquired the stone from Delk and has it in safekeeping. He was confident after his initial inspections of the stone that the specimen is genuine. He took it to a medical lab at Glen Rose Medical Center, where he said 800 X-rays were performed in a CT scan procedure. Baugh said the scans prove that the impressions are real and could not have been carved or etched into the stone. "The compression lines, the density features, do show, and there is no way to fake that," he said. "It is possible to carve a track in limestone. But there is no way to compress the material in the rock under the track. That is absolutely impossible. That's why the CAT scans are so important." He said the scans demonstrate the human footprint was made "during locomotion. That’s very important. That distribution is shown here. Compression is in the right place under both prints. Density. Compression, distribution. The density factor is there. Weight distribution. Forward locomotion, rocking of the foot." He also noted how the dinosaur's impression pushed up material from the human print and altered its shape in the area of the intrusion. Not only does this find completely discredit the theory of evolution, but it shows the Bible to be what it claims to be, the inerrant Word of God. Evolutionists have used fraud and deceit to support their theory over the years, with Piltdown man, Nebraska man, the Coelacanth and many other dubious claims. But the Word of God has been proven again and again to be one hundred percent accurate when it comes to history, archaeology, biology, physics, medical science and much more. As the Lord said to Nicodemus, "If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?", John 3:12. If the Bible can be fully trusted when it speaks of earthly things, how much more should we take heed when it speaks of heavenly things? Jesus Christ is the Creator (John 1:10). The Creator desires to have a relationship with His creation. But just like Adam in the garden of Eden, your sins have separated between you and your God (Isaiah 59:2). God sacrificed an innocent animal in order to provide a covering for our first parents' nakedness and sin. God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to die upon a cross, so He might provide forgiveness for your sins (John 3:16). Why don't you trust in Him for salvation today. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Source Mineral Wells |

"...My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him" - Hebrews 12 V5 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent" - Revelation 3 V19 Not all like chastening and it is likely that we get discouraged when somebody does that to us. Only the wise understand that when the Lord chastens us, He does it for our good that we may turn away from sin. We discipline our kids when they do wrong and in a similar way our Lord rebuke and chastens those whom He loves and that all should repent. Do not let the chastening of our Lord discourage you but repent and draw close to God and He will draw close to you. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced this evening that he intends to step down from his post following the election of a new chairman for Kadima in September. The Prime Minister has come under increasing pressure to resign after it was revealed that he received bribes from a New York businessman. He is also under investigation for submitting duplicate claims of travel expenses when he was mayor of Jerusalem. Olmert came to power in January 2006 following the lapse of then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon into a coma. He presided over a caretaker government until the former Prime Minister was officially declared unfit to govern, after his one-hundredth day in the coma. Two and a half years later, Ariel Sharon remains in a stable condition in a Tel Aviv rehabilitation centre, but still in a comatose state. Last January Ehud Olmert paid tribute to his ailing predecessor. It was widely perceived that Sharon's illness was a result of his Gaza disengagement policy, which was effected just a few months before his debilitating stroke. The Gaza disengagement itself was also seen as a judgement upon Israel, for it began on Tisha B'Av, the exact date on which the First and Second Temples were destroyed by the Babylonian and Roman armies. So it was seen as a double tragedy for the Jewish people. During his tenure, Olmert lead Israel into the 33 day war with Hizbullah, which was widely perceived as a strategic failure. Although Israel didn't lose the war, Hizbullah continued to rain down over 120 missiles on Israel on a daily basis, until Western nations allowed the UN to intervene. Israel's free reign against Hizbullah resulted in US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's famous declaration, that the world was now witnessing the "birth pangs" of the new Middle East. Unfortunately the UN ceasefire has allowed Hizbullah to regroup and rearm, and the organization is now in possession of more rockets than they were at the start of the Second Lebanon War. And of course Olmert official recommenced peace negotiations with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at the Annapolis peace conference last year. His premiership was unique. He was the first Prime Minister to admit that Israel possessed nuclear weapons, in a dreadful gaffe during an interview with a German reporter about Iran. He was also the first Israeli Prime Minister to consider dividing the city of Jerusalem. Olmert's departure will be seen as a hindrance to peace by the international community. Even the Palestinian Arabs said they would be reluctant to lose him. But the United States government has declared that they will continue to press on for a peace agreement by 2009. Quote: ""We will continue to work on a deal before the end of the year," White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said when asked how Olmert's departure would affect the fragile Israeli-Palestinian peace process. US officials had played down the potential fallout from Olmert's departure, saying he is not the only Israeli leader committed to peacemaking. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice launched a round of talks in Washington on Wednesday with former Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia and Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who is considered a possible successor to Olmert. Meanwhile senior Palestinian Authority official Saeb Erekat said the PA "decided today that we are going to continue pursuing to reach an agreement before the end of the year." As we have seen, end time prophecy is being fulfilled. The Israeli government is actively pursuing peace with their enemies, something which they were commanded by God never to do (Deuteronomy 23:6). And they are handing God's land (Leviticus 25:23) over to their enemies, land which is being used as a terrorist base from which to destroy them. Whoever wins the upcoming elections, there is no doubt they will be railroaded by the international community into making peace with their Muslim neighbours, who are bent on the annihilation of the Jewish state. The international community thinks, if only Israel can give up enough land, maybe the Arabs will be happy. But this conflict is not about land. It is about the Jewish people. Satan has sought to destroy God's chosen people throughout history. Hitler was responsible for wiping out some 6-8 million of them, even when there was no nation of Israel. Satan is bent on destroying God's people, for He knows God's promises to this world are wrapped up in them. For Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) is to return to Jerusalem to rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Micah 4:2). And Satan is bent on doing his utmost to prevent that from happening. Peace will only come for Israel when they are willing to recognize Yeshua as their Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). And you will only have true peace in your heart when you invite Jesus Christ into your life. He died so that you might know peace with God (Colossians 1:20). Confess to God that you are a sinner. Turn away from your sins. And turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31). Source YNet News, Aish, YNet News |
