Jordan's King Abdullah II and French President Nicolas Sarkozy have voiced their support for the establishment of a Palestinian state following talks at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday. Abdullah's visit to France came shortly after his stop in Russia, in which the king pledged to increase economic co-operation between the two countries. It also follows a warming in relations between the Jordanian government and the Hamas terrorist organization that now occupies the Gaza Strip. Abdullah and Sarkozy issued a communiqué stressing the importance of advancing the Middle East peace process towards the establishment of a Palestinian state. They also affirmed the centrality of the European Union's role in peace-making in the Middle East, and reiterated their belief in the importance of co-operation between the countries of the EU and Middle East-North African region in all fields: political, economic, cultural and social. Quote: "In a joint communiqué issued after their talks held at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday, the two sides stressed the importance of advancing the Middle East peace process towards the establishment of an independent, democratic and viable Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with Israel. They also asserted the centrality of the role the European Union in Middle East peace-making, and reiterated their strong belief in the importance of cooperation between the countries of the EU and Middle East-North African region in all fields: political, economic, cultural and social, the communiqué added. France currently hold the EU Presidency. As you can see, whether they realize it or not, world leaders are bent in fulfilling prophecies that the Scriptures foretold would come to pass in the latter days. For the three statements that I have quoted from in this communiqué represent the fulfilment of three distinct prophecies mentioned in the Old and New Testament. The realization of the first statement, calling for the establishment of a Palestinian state, will fulfill the prophecies concerning the division of God's land when Israel's enemies will be in siege against Judea and Jerusalem, or what is now termed the West Bank and east Jerusalem (Daniel 11:39, Zechariah 12:2, 14:2 and Revelation 11:2). The realization of the second statement, placing the European Union at the centre of the Middle East peace process, will fulfill the prophecies concerning the coming of the Antichrist, his peace covenant with Israel and the surrounding nations, his desecration of the Temple, his persecution of the Jewish people and his eventual destruction at the return of Christ (Daniel 9:26, 9:27, 2nd Thessalonians 2:4, Mark 13:14, Revelation 13:7, Revelation 19:20). And the realization of the third statement, calling for co-operation between the EU, Middle East and North Africa - now called the Union for the Mediterranean, will fulfill the prophecies concerning the rise of the empire of the beast out of the sea, this empire's control over the whole world and its eventual destruction at the return of Christ (Revelation 13:1, Daniel 7:24, Revelation 17:12, Daniel 7:22). The stage is being set for the last days. The actors are all in place. The question is, what role do you play? Have you trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation? When He comes for His saints, will you be caught up to be with Him in the air? Or will you be left behind to face the wrath of God? There is no middle ground. The Lord Jesus warned that when it comes to the issue of salvation, if we are not for Christ then we are against Him (Luke 11:23). It is God's will that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2nd Peter 3:9). Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation today. Source China View, Arutz 7 |

"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." - Psalm 119 V11 "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." - Ephesians 6 V11 Some kind of strategy is very important when a country wages war with it's enemy and knowing the weakness of the enemy is part of it. There is no doubt that the worst enemy of mankind is the devil and unless we know the weakness of the devil it will be hard to keep him aloof. God is our source of help against the devil and by getting close to God through prayer we can keep the devil away. Put on the armor of God and keep the Word of God in your heart and use it during temptations. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

Hindu violence against Christians is continuing to spread across the eastern state of Orissa in India, despite government efforts to control the rioting. The trouble began a week ago, after Maoist rebels destroyed a Hindu shrine. The Hindus blamed the Christian community for carrying out the attack, even after police identified the communist organization to be the perpetrators. Eleven people have lost their lives in the fighting, many church buildings have been destroyed, and Christians have been attacked in their own homes by mobs wielding bows and axes. Hundreds of Christians have fled to the forests and nearby hills for refuge from their persecutors. The Italian Foreign Minister has asked the Indian ambassador to intervene in the unrest, and the matter is expected to be taken up at a future EU meeting of Foreign Ministers. Quote: ""Police are marching in several areas now," Orissa police chief Gopal Chandra Nanda told Reuters. Television pictures showed mobs armed with rods putting up road blocks on Thursday and others attacking churches. Other mobs armed with bows and arrows and axes have attacked Christian homes, dragging out women and children. Hundreds have fled to forests and nearby hills, officials said. "Moments after we passed by a Christian village, people set it on fire and everything was over within minutes," a senior police officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said from Kandhamal, the worst-hit district. Some people have the wrong idea that Christians who hold the view of a pre-tribulation rapture are only hoping to escape suffering in this life. Unfortunately we have become so accustomed to the freedoms the Gospel has brought to the West that we automatically assume that the rest of the world must be enjoying the same privileges. But the situation in the West is not the norm. The statistics are that 9 out of 10 Christians in the world today will experience some sort of persecution for their faith. All but one of the apostles were martyred for their faith. The early Church suffered horrendous persecution at the hands of Rome, and many more gave their lives in the Inquisition and the Reformation for the sake of the Gospel. Paul said in 2nd Timothy 3:12, "all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution". Paul said in Philippians 1:29, that it is given for us not only to believe on Christ, but also to suffer for His name. Tribulation isn't something we should be expecting to begin once the Antichrist arrives on the scene. Tribulation goes hand in hand with being a Christian. But even if the rapture doesn't occur at the start, middle or even end of Daniel's seventieth week, Christians have absolutely nothing to fear. Jesus Christ said in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world". The world did the worst they could to Him, and they thought He was defeated. But instead Jesus defeated him that had the power of death, and delivered those who through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14-15). They thought He was finished, but Jesus cried in victory, "It is finished!", John 19:30. If the rapture does not occur then the worst thing the Antichrist can do to me is kill me. And even then he is bestowing a great blessing upon me, because Paul tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2nd Corinthians 5:8). The only thing we have to fear is the wrath of God, and as believers in Christ, we have already been delivered from that (1st Thessalonians 1:10, 1st Thessalonians 5:9). There is disagreement among Christians about exactly when this wrath begins, but there is no doubt we will be delivered out of it. If you are not a Christian, then you have a lot to fear, because "the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness", Romans 1:18. The Bible states that if you haven't believed on Jesus Christ, then the wrath of God abides on you (John 3:36). And if you die in your sins, then the Bible states that you can never be in heaven (John 8:21). But Jesus Christ bore God's wrath for your sin when He died upon the cross of Calvary (Isaiah 53:10). And all who believe on Him for salvation can have their sins forgiven and everlasting life in heaven. Are you ready to meet your God? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation today. 2nd Thessalonians 1:4-6 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; Source Reuters |

"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?" - Psalm 139 V7 ""Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?" says the Lord; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord." - Jeremiah 23 V24 Sin separates us from God and guilt causes us to hide from God, but where can one hide? Is there any sin that we commit, not known to God? The presence of our Lord fills the heaven and the earth and He can fill His presence in our heart too when we invite Him. Nobody can hide from God and pretend as if nothing happened. God is aware of all our secret acts but He is also willing to forgive and accept us the way we are, provided we accept Him and follow Him the rest of our life. Stop fleeing and return to Jesus. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |

"But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." - Psalm 37 V11 "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." - Matthew 5 V5 Jesus Christ led a humble life and he chose meek men to be His disciples. We may think that it requires a lot to be a follower of Christ and infact all it requires is submissiveness and faith. The meek shall inherit the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, and live in peace, rejoicing in the glory of God. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Jesus Christ |
